I noticed that LYN 'Football Lounge''s topics is a little bit too general. I would like to start posting like other football forum, meaning discussion of news article.

Eg.
I start a topic with a latest article + my comment. Then, others reply. Can I do this?

if u are to do that, then every single football article will also have a new thread........

if your article is related to a team, post it in the team's thread...
if you want other people from other team to comment, post a message in their thread, or post the article in their thread and in a nice way, put your comment there and ask them what they think...

but becareful, football lounge is bound to attract noobs that will post anti-rival messages and start a flame war.

Why not have subforums like English Premier League, Spanish Primeira and so on?

No, I don't meant to have team threads. Actually I don't quite like team threads. What I mean is all the news about lets say EPL in placed in the EPL forum.

This way you get to make the comment, everybody gets to post there, and when a new hot news item comes up, people move on.

tats a good idea....although i bet a flamin war will start everytime a "hot" news came out....look at the team thread....there are noobs startin a flame war here and there over a certain match last sunday....*cough*MANUCHELSEA*cough*....tongue.gif

Another suggestion is can we disable post count in the football thread. I see many people spamming over there.

 

Change to:
