heya guys. just finished readin the 16 pages sweat.gif im not familiar wif PJ but i think i might be able to find the glenmarie track. got an ancient Kyosho Pureten Spider (8 years old doh.gif ) all stock parts. how often do u guys play btw? i havent got any drift tyres. so since the tyres were wrecked, i just put a few rounds of plastic tape on em. think that'll work?

if you look at the box(mine anyways), it should say "Required For Operation (not included) : *2ch Radio Control System with Electric Speed Controller, *Batteries x 8, *7.2V-1400~2000mAh Ni-Cd Battery, *Battery Charger, *540 Class Motor"

btw, how long on average does 1400mAh Ni-Cd batteries usually last? cause im using that at the moment and it seems kinda short. what batteries do you guys use?

5Amp? wont that like shorten the battery cycle or something? i just bought a 1.5Amp charger cause the old one went dead.
1400 about less than 10 mins on mine too, guess that's the average. how much did you buy the 3800 for?

just bought and sawed off some pvc pipes. the one i got is bigger than the wheels so just gonna glue the wrecked tyres inside em as buffer. i hope it works unsure.gif

eric, might i suggest getting a second hand set first? everything'll be bundled together and much cheaper. once you get the feel of things, u can get additional stuff for upgrading the car.

wow, you actually went through sawing it yourself, salute you  rclxms.gif

seconded, Eric, you dont need a better charger either for starter's kit, I just want a better charger because I want more kick from it. besides, above 3amp charger will shorten the battery life drastically. FYI I'm selling my Ansmann 2.5amp charger, going for RM70 smile.gif

yoh eric congrats on getting ur new car thumbup.gif hope you're havin as much fun as i am.

the long lasting play, i think it's not about the charger (maybe some factor) but more the battery. 4200 or 3800mAh will last longer than lower ones.
