walao... bro how much u bought that? i was thinking bout that chasis as well... but budget is the problem lor...
*
the car itself is RM799 without electronics... if u are new like me u need to spend quite a lot for the first time cause u need to buy battery, charger, motor, esc, servo n transmitter... i m getting brushless motor so it is more expensive...

if u are new to this hobby just like me... dont go for nitro car first... it is a lot harder to maintain... u need to tune the engine and the fuel is quite expensive... as for electric, is quite expensive also but you only spend it one time... the electronics are expensive but you dont have to keep on buying it... besides that you cant play a nitro car in your house... you need to play it outside... so if you are new to this hobby try to get yourself an electric car...

hi
im new to this RC Drift things
have been doing some research lately
seem there are two best brand

1. yokomo
2. tamiya

based on from my reading, if i buy tamiya, i can start drift already
but for yokomo, i hav to buy another stuff before i can start drift

is it? anyone using yokomo?
can share experience on differences between both brand?
*
basically u dont have to change anything in order to drift just change to drift tires n u r ready to go... actually there are a lot of good brands around... what is important is find those that have abundance of spare parts... tamiya will b cheaper compare to yokomo...

like patrick said u all can go to hobby haven n view takara drift light... hobby haven is the official importer for yokomo products... so they should have takara drift light cause it is a jint development between takara n yokomo... hobby haven is situated along jln horsepower in sunway...

to all taikor here....need so opinion from urs....
is it worth to buy a 8month old used TB-02D rtr set by rm700????
here is the spec....

TB-02 chassis
TRF special damper
Sport tune motor
Aluminum parts including propeller shaft and heat sink
feature blue anodized finish improving overall appearance of chassis
a HPI wrx sti bashing shell
sanwa controller & receiver
2pcs 1700 batt included
1 normal charger included
*
better dont buy TB02 cause is discontinued already... another reason is because TB02 is a flop... tamiya is not selling it very well and tats the reason u dont see a lot of TB02 cause stargek is not bringing it in... is better to get TT01 or TB03 if u have the budget... TA05 is also a very nice car but it is belt drive so depends on ur preference...

Added on December 3, 2008, 3:04 pmAnyone can teach me how to change the tyres? If u noe any website which teaches how to change rc tyres please help...i dunno how to put on the tyre on the rims....
*
you mean tyre for rc drifting?? the easiest way to do it is to use a hairdryer... set it to hot and blow the hot air on the tyre... once the tyre is hot, it will be soft and easier to put it into the rim... hope this help...
