told you dont go toycity mar, the one you saw in IOI is the XB. need bearings, suspension and a better motor, and yes it will in the end be more expensive than the TT01D
I'm no genius but my thinking is you'll need the running air to cool the engine and in drifting you won't get that much air since it's going slow or sideways (you could cut a hole on each side of the shell I suppose)

compared to others running, mine like very very quiet.. cannot hear...

i thought most ppl use TT-01 to drift and TT-01 is shaft driven right?

I lock my diff too, both front and rear but front only 50%, worried my 23t cant carry the back with front at full power..

the number of channels are determine by the number of things you're going to control with the ESC i.e throttle and steering. if you wanna add lights I'm not sure if you can actually trigger them from the controller or not, but usually what I see is they just intercept the throttle line to make brake lights, the rest are switched on/off by a separate switch on the car itself.
