glassy,i'm sure u are a top student in ur sch rite?

Somewhat. Usually ranked top 3 or top 5 in the entire Form 5 of 300+ people. Not the best, sadly. =( I'm not smart enough.

By the way, I heard in one year the passing mark for Add Maths is 20 marks. No surprise. The A2 standard was also generously dropped.

I haven't got any predictions for Biology...though I probably would recommend studying kadar transpirasi experiments. Aren't those the only experiments in the whole of Form Five syllabus? Or maybe I've overlooked something...

I don't want to pass. I want A1 so these low marks don't bother me.

Science subjects Paper 2, eh? Well, Physics was generally managable, nothing I couldn't manage.

Paper 2 of Chem seemed like an experimental paper, though. Lots of unusual, unconventional questions. Very different from the past year papers and trial papers from other states which I've done.

I hope Biology doesn't wind up following Chemistry's path...>_<

By the way, welcome, summer_wizard! I'm also a fairly new user myself. happy.gif

Hmm, the paper 1's of the sciences so far were pretty easy. Only concept questions and some calculations. No big deal.

The problem with Biology is, the question-setters tend to shoot out questions which are actually out of our syllabus's range. That is a proven fact. So you really have to KNOW your material thoroughly, in and out, to be able to tackle with those out-of-the-blue 3 mark structure questions.

Surprisingly, Biology is going to be the last paper for Pure Science students, during my time (2003), it was the first paper.... We were like "wow" when we got the timetable... sweat.gif

Initially it was the first paper also, until they decided to change the schedule. If follow the old schedule, SPm would have been over LONGGGGGG AGO..and started LONGGGGGG ago as well.

Haha, Biology first? Ouch.

I like the current timetable format, actually. Get all the languages out of the way first. BM, BI, EST, Sejarah and such.

Back in my father's ancient days, Add Maths was usually the last paper.
