But the angle on top is 180 minus the 2 angles.

For the 1st situation, the angle on top is 60 degrees too....but you have to draw W, so you must divide it into 2 making it 30 degrees....

Am I correct? How did you get 60 degrees and 45 degrees on both sides if it is like that?

However, my point is that to get the triangle which you drew, you halved the original triangle. Which resulted in one of the T1 lines being cut off.

There, quoting my previous post: I thought that the segitiga keseimbangan daya had to consist of three lines: One W line symbolizing the weight, and two T1 lines, symbolizing the two strings used to hold the mirror. The final product of your drawing in your diagram only had one T1 line, which I felt was not fulfiling the question.

Of course, do correct me if I am wrong. I can be a bit of a scatterbrain sometimes.

Yes, but you have to split the BIG triangle into 2 small triangle with 90 degrees....and the line dividing them into 2 is W.

Since the keseimbangan daya must consist of 3 lines....I got rid of 1 triangle, but it is understood what I mean.

All right. In that case, your triangle has one T1 line and one W line. So what's the line at the bottom called? Surely it couldn't be the other T1. >_o

Where's your second T1 line then? *scratches head*

EDITED picture with the forces. The green line downwards is W and the 'melintang' line is komponen-y.
