I'm not gonna lie but I do care about the looks of the car...
So I'm currently looking at recon 2010 Honda Stream... Searching through mudah.my and carlist tells me it's about 90k...
But its a 2nd hand car... Used before in Japan, right? So will a brand new Grand Livina or even Innova be better? Or got other choices Im not aware of?
But of coz GL and Innova aint as pretty as Stream...
I'd like to have some feedback from Stream owners... How's the comfortness and spaciousness? How's the FC? And how's the maintenance?

Mechanical parts like for engine & transmission should be ok coz it shares with other Subaru cars (Impreza, Legacy) but maybe exterior & interior parts might not be as easy.

What is ur requirement .. Since inova is out of league with stream and grand livina..

Very good pick up considering its mpv.

Toyota Wish X price should be around recon stream. agree stream looks better. but toyota more comfortable, newer dual vvti engine with cvt.
innova might look ugly, but robust engine and good on fuel consumption too..the handling a bit out la.
new grand livina is the safest choice, but the space inside a bit tight..and i consider underspec too.

The New Exora Bold should be considered if you're worried about parts availability.
It beats your options in terms of comfort and spaciousness.
FC sucks more in the region of the Innova.
And the maintenance will be the cheapest.
7 year warranty should give u peace of mind.

Theanswer, but Innova has poor safety... It only has 2 airbags and no stability program, which is important as highlighted by PaulTan... Ya, GL also has poor safety specs and not spacious but if wanna get brand new, it IS the cheapest...
jViper2, is the Exora reliable? Coz its a proton after all, right? And I heard proton cars drink fuel... Is it true? My wife saga really does drink fuel! Dunno about Exora...

And the reason I emphasize safety is bcoz I always travel... I'm always on the highway... If just driving around town, then no need la... But every weekend I need to go outstation... So a car with stability program is a must, I think...

Exora does drink fuel, but more because I like to step on the accelerator and let it run, while driving on city roads. But the car definitely performed well when I went to Resorts World Genting last weekend, which means it should be able to handle outstation trips with no big issue at all!

Of course, speaking of long-distance trips, you can definitely save a lot of gasoline (as well as avoiding being snapped by a police camera, haha) when the cruise control is activated at, say, 110 kph. For a $75k MPV (the most affordable one in the market today, and it's brand new) to have this feature is a great plus point!

Toyota Wish NVH is disappointing for a Toyota... whether first or 2nd gen model.

received my grand livina 1.6 manual few months ago
no bell & whistle, but the remaining bits are fantastic
very acceptable NVH, very good ride comfort and handling, and with manual,very powerful engine(auto kill power)
if you like auto, 1.8 would be better
the downside is...with heavy foot you'll never get more than 12km/L,sometime i manage to make it dip below 10km/L

Been using Exora bold for more than a year now.
Since u said theres a lot of highway travelling, than its recommended.
For full tank, my best km achieved is 600 km but theres other who claim get about 650km too.
For a heavy mpv like exora thats very good.

Thank you! Will take a look at it... But I do know the downside of the car... It has no stability control (which I found very important from PaulTan) and it's not very spacious, right? Other than that should be a fine car, right?

exora full tank is 55L.
Ya mostly highways, a bit kampung road. No RnR stops, 4 passenger with 3rd row all luggage.
My speed was average 110 with very lightfoot drive..huhuh.

But on usual working days, most of the time tank empty when reaching 500km.Refill every weekends.
