i have a friend who's planning to start a lunch delivery service. the meal will be freshly cooked and consist of consists of a quarter roast chicken, standards better than what u get at nando's or kenny rogers, a portion of either potatoes / brown rice / pasta and a portion of vegs. inclusive of delivery. how much would you pay for such a meal?
1. rm10
2. rm15
3. rm20

Maybe think of a menu that can cater for something less than RM10 and also easy to eat. No hassle of bones and so on....
Just my 2 cents.

But certainly not an everyday affair. It depends what market your friend wants to penetrate, whether it is the premium market or budget lunch catering service. It will not be easy to do a lunch delivery that is too costly. If it costs up to RM20, people might be more inclined to dine in restaurants. Usually for lunch delivery service based on fresh cooked food, the target market is mostly budget type as most people will be looking for affordable meals. Unless you are talking about Pizza delivery which is something different.
