Checking in. Decided to test out nexus, coming from ip6s. Stock seems to lag or get stuck once in a blue moon. Battery life is not satisfactory to me. Now on CM13 + elementalx kernel (with CPU governor tweaks) + forcedoze

Hey guys, I'm getting a new phone and the Nexus 5X is my first choice, 2nd choice is Galaxy S7(non-edge).
Any owners here have any regrets buying the 5X? What do you dislike about the phone?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

QUOTE(niakulah @ Aug 9 2016, 10:24 AM) Everyone 100% happy with their phones is it Well the price difference/gap between 5X and S7 is quite big, you can get two 5X with S7's price already. If you want to do a "fair" comparison, 6P is more appropriate here.

Expect 2.5~3.5 hours only depending on usage. - It does heat up and throttle. In terms of gaming performance, I personally feel that the old Snapdragon 800/801 is faster and smoother. - Camera does not do auto-ISO when you set the shutter manually. Vice-versa it does not do auto shutter speed when you set the ISO manually. - Sub par phone speaker, loud enough but sound like a cheap mono radio to my ears. Treble is a mess and bass is non existent. - Potential to melt down your phone when charging it with stock cable/charger... search XDA forum/google for more info. Not sure if Msia units will be affected.

Not sure if Msia units will be affected. not to worry about charging. the fact is, all old chargers behave that way and only new chargers will push current where there is load. that is why you are advice to unplug charger once the device is fully charged. the ironic of it, most devices/batteries now have over charging protection.
