people does not complain the price is expensive.. the specs itself justify the price. But people complain how come US able to get way cheaper price than other country..
*
I thought samsung and apple sell here cheaper than in the US?

Forbes report u could get a 128gb 6p and have changed to spare compared to getting entry level ipong 6s nor note 5.

Personally for me I rate HW phones has the BEST gsm/lte lockup I had ever used vs say HTC, Samsung, LG, Asus, Sony, Motorola, Oppo etc. HW are master themselves in this and is world largest supplier to most telco in the world for their telecom equipment.
*
Thanks.

Now if only HW revise their selling price then im totally on board. Funny when a us$500 hw is selling at the same price as us$700 note 5 over here tongue.gif

Expecting it to price around there given its spec.
*
Not really.

Snapdragon 810 devices are rm1.7k for 1+2 and below rm2k for Sony z3+
The price they are asking for 6p is more than what Samsung wants for its note 5

From their official page, z3+ single sim 2099, dual sim adda another 300.
If I'm not mistaken, official Malaysia set is the dual sim version.

Probably their ads on mudah is before gst?
Saw few other ads on it for below 2k

And yes it probably an AP set.
But can always wait a few more days till the Z5 are launch.

Personally, probably getting somethings from Amazon has better warranty than Malaysian officials unit tongue.gif

The 128gb version seems competitively prices. The 64gb really overprice. 200 ringgit more is Ok now If only got a white versions I would totally drive down there myself and get the 128gb.

Also if I bought it from Singapore can I reclaimed the GST when exiting the CIQ?

looking at the price released by SG Huawei.. I don't think MY price going to be any or lot cheaper.. otherwise ppl from SG will all buy from MY la since so near and not that big issue to claim warranty etc.

I thought iPad are cheaper in Malaysia than in Singapore and even a bit cheaper than the US?

Assuming the Nexus 6P 32GB will be priced the same as Galaxy Note 5 32GB, which is actually more compelling? In US the Nexus 6P is suppose to be lower priced than the Note 5 right?
*
Yup. Note5 is a premium device there with premium us650-700 dollars prices tag. The 6P is a us500 dollars devices. The strengthening of dollars against every other currencies had made murican stuff too expensive and apple has hike prices by >20% in NZ,Aus,My and Norway. 40% in Brazil while "affordable" moto x pure are not as affordable anymore when the prices are the same as S6 and Z3+ locally. The moto x play are 1.5k for HK unit while equivalent chipset M4 aqua are only less than 900 ori.

Nexus 5X and 6P review (or preview) mini-roundup
The new Nexus smartphones have been quite pleasing to many tech sites. Many are still working on their reviews but so far, things are very positive in Nexus land.

6P: "So Far, It's Everything I'd Hoped" - http://goo.gl/uzBua5

Mashable
5X: "Google's Nexus 5X offers a rock-solid Android experience, excellent cameras, and a fast fingerprint sensor, all within a reasonably-sized body for a very reasonable price. " - http://goo.gl/cxeLEN

TechCrunch
6P: "This Is The Android Device That You’ve Been Waiting For" - http://goo.gl/2c7Pu4

It was wifi browsing test at 200 nits, so result are much higher than our normal usage, but from comparison graph, it's much better than 6P and almost on par with 6S+, really not bad  rclxms.gif

Overall it's OK. Only missing information to make an informed decision is how good is the headphones drivers is.

Only engineering graduate  tongue.gif
Output + Medium + Input ( Power adapter + cable + power management chip ) all must support that technology. Reason for rubbish-OP2 not support quick charging tech is last component IINM.
Is the Nexus USB Type C which only supports USB 2.1 and not 3.0 is hardware related?

If it so. Will it mean this phone will never pull a continuum like features if Google or any other developers pull that off?

You must understand, it is not something the OEM or Manufacturer can control, it is all due to the exchange rate. Not just the 6P is affected, every phone out there or anything that isn't Malaysian made gets affected.

So if you want to compare price, you cannot compare based on the price in the past when USD is 3.2-3.3, to be relevant, you have to compare with any other handphone at the current pricing.
*
Actually only phone from the US are affected and not every phone. The strengthening of dollar effects almost every other currencies and Not MYR only.

For me its the battery life, when I see the new Moto X is only 3000mah with 5.7" QHD, I was skeptical. I am very paranoid after experiencing with a bad battery life experience on my current Moto X 2014.  sweat.gif
*
According to phonearena the 6p and x style has about the same battery life at around 6.5 hours. Unfortunately nexus 6 lasted longer at 7.5 hours. And the headphones amp power is only 30% of iPhone, Moto x or nexus 6.

I never trusted phonearena reviews regarding battery life.

Gsmarena is more accurate.

Depends. I find my iPhone 6 and z3 lasted as long as they claimed. But I agree gsmarena are more accurate.

Haiz, we are 2nd rate country...I wonder how long we need to wait somemore. Everyday I see Malaysians bombard Nexus 6P ETA in the Huawei Malaysia FB page, they should get the hint by now...

Haiz I everyday refresh Superbuy's page hoping they will open for pre-order, haha!
*
2nd rate country with apple as its 4th largest seller and among the first to receive note5,6s and z5. Its also doesn't help huawei that these folks "underpriced" it here.

Also don't think even HK got stocks, if not expansys will be selling it by now.
