2698 for 64GB with official warranty sounds like a big slap for DirectD and 1gadget.

For me, having DirectD as a big established retailer that always bring new smartphone early to our market is an advantage to user, especially those who dont have the privilege to wait and everyday tea tarik chat in forum while waiting for official / local announcement.

I'm used to buy smartphone from ebay / amazon and the total cost is almost on par with the price Directd sells. Of course now we have toabao and many other 'chinese-based' online platform that sells gadget at good price but I don't have guts to buy from yet.

and dont forget singapore 64gb also if convert around rm2.9k already. and that's before u calculate the gst and sirim being charged to you (if you post it over here).

If convert directly from xe, is RM2867. But of course bank rate is normally higher a bit, so can say estimately is RM2.9k

if you walk in and purchase at SG, then bring out urself, chances to be taxed and gst is of course almost 0. So your total cost is RM2.9k. This one is considering you already have other reason to go to Singapore.

if you purposely go there to buy 6p, just consider your petrol and toll cost + VEP charges + ERP Charges + Toll charges (approximately SG$50 / RM150 if weekdays or SG12 / RM33 if on weekends or public holiday). If like me, I did travel to Singapore on weekend to purchase phone (last time htc one m7 and iphone 5s), I spent additional RM280. So adds on to the cost of the phone, it becomes RM3180.

if your friend over there buy for you and post it to here, then there's chances for you to get taxed once it reach our customs. So it's gonna be rm2.9k x 6% (GST) + RM100 (sirim) = RM3174.

A question for those existing Nexus 6p owners - have any of you experienced any noticeable bending for your unit to date?

Been reading a couple of threads on XDA of owners complaining that their device does not lie flat face down after prolong usage.

If you recall or visit any of the Samsung Galaxy S6 or Note 5 threads, you'd see people whining about the same thing. Pink hue on screens. It's more of a AMOLED panel issue than it is a phone issue. Hopefully most of us gets defect-free phones. As for mine. My screen is perfect, my back panel is even. BUT my speakers are unbalanced. The top speaker is louder than my bottom speaker lol
