Basically there's no short answer. Since u havent/play any console games for some time and intend to buy one....i suggest u dont ( not yet! )

Just spent your time as long as u can reading all the post there is in this forum spanning all the three players..ie. Microsoft, Sony & Nintendo. Just read and try not to asked untill at a later time. ( people hate it answering all the same answer all over again not to mention bias preference & fanboyism which may or not affect your judgement).
