SCB supporter here too
been using it for almost one year. platform is simple just not quite useful for stock analysis. most importantly no minimum charge! buy small buy big also can. the only other risk is if SCB collapse then your stocks will have problem..

from my understanding, Standard chartered shares are kept in a custodian account not in CDP, therefore if one day you decide to move the shares to CDP then need to apply with SCB and pay a certain charge... the other drawback is since the shares are in custodian account, you won't be entitled to go to AGM makan makan...

what I do is usually use google chrome app on iphone. login to SC online banking. then at the app menu you can pick "request desktop site". then it will look exactly like on desktop, just smaller.

just want to ask... normally when do you guys take profit? do you take it when it reaches a certain percentage point? like 10% of your average price or more... or do you do TA and set target price.. or keep forever...

btw guys if your holdings in SCB is quite large amount, you can consider applying for priority banking SCB (200k AUM), then minimum comission will be 0.18% instead of 10sgd..

Think banks generally going up... but DBS chionging. maybe cos market think may have rate hike... and rate hike will benefit banks with increased interest rates?
