3) Then he subscribe. Why need to subscribe some more if already buy from market?
*
You buy rights need money right (RI+subscription)... if you subscribe for excess no need pay for RI (just subscription).. get it? brows.gif brows.gif brows.gif

Excess not 100% can get one... or allocated only little, like IPO .. and your money can get stuck pending refund for up to 2 weeks.

A: Yes

if you subscribe for excess no need pay for RI (just subscription)..
A: If don't hold mothershare how to subscribe? Can only buy from market. If buy from market what is there to subscribe anymore???

Sorry if sound so noob  blush.gif

You buy before ex, you get FOC rights what...you can subscribe to those. rolleyes.gif

Anyway do your calculation before you decide, buy mother before ex RI, mother after ex RI or RI itself. tongue.gif

The Cache rights at 63.2 cents seems a very steep discount to mother share price of 88 cents at 4 Sep. Seeing it will rank pari passu with normal share and right to dsitribution for 3Qtr.  Worth a wager?    biggrin.gif

Wahh.. I am not interested in Cache.. so I never check the risk reward.. tongue.gif

I only know that they have several master list expiring, which could affect the DPU..

Just dsicussing the rights per se.

Is there a conversion premium? It seems that 63.2 cents is all.
*
Mother price = rights price + conversion price

Now mother price is 80 cents, conversion price = 63.2 cents

Theoretical rights price is 80-63.2 = 16.7 cents

Mind you after rights issue, DPU will be dilute due to larger outstanding 18 rights per 100 shares. So dont use historical dpu.

how to calculate discount/premium

80 cents -(Rights price + 63.2 cents) = will show you discount (+ve), or premium (-ve) in cents laugh.gif

Mother and rights price will change constantly.. so use new figures to calculate if needed.
