CCT get listed in STI 30. !

YEAH.. i know. My friend hv it. And when dip below .40 he highlight ask me to buy.
He penat penat do a lot research and hv hold it for some time...

But i did not get any. or else my Stock list will go longer...

only SGX I got 30.

M'sia i hv sold off all my reits except
1.SUNREIT.. waiting for it hit my target price.
and losing money AMFIRST - dunno what to do with it.
The rest is "buy sell" type.

HK luckily did not follow my BFF. She went in with 50k last year.. Now paper loss. left back 10k.
Plan to diversify to HKSE.. to hold good dividend paying shares.
End up 40K capital loss!!!!

I think KepCorp can still buy,... keep for the dividend yield if gone-off into the red later,...

OK,... look closely at FCT,..it's dropping, dropping,....

Wow,...STI in the red today,... mkt IS pulling-back,... prepare bullets and stand-ng-by again,....

KepCorp also dropped today after 5 days of advance,... will it drop below $6.00 ?

Ascott REIT has confirmed on another acquisition - the second property in The USA, The Sheraton Tribeca New York Hotel.

Pg 18 of the slides indicates that the DPU will be accretive, BUT,...the gearing has also gone up to 40%. Ascott REIT intends to continue investing into the US Market.

Edited : Forgot to mention, the DPU is yield-accretive, which means even after factoring in anyincreased number of units, and taking into account any further debts taken (if any),... the dividend given out is still accretive. This is good news.

For the metrics of an acquisition for a REIT, being DPU-accretive means a lot to unitholders compared to increase in Net Property Income.

I am glad I bought into Ascott REIT when it first started on its venture into the US market.

But,... this morning,...fully-focussed back,... The SINGAPORE BUDGET today. Mr Heng Swee Keat will give his maiden speech as MInister for Finance. Just a 'Mister' only,... sorry, no 'Datuk Seri' for Mr Heng... but..................worth listening to.

See got tax against dividends or not,... got tax against coupon payouts or not,.... got plans to weaken the SGD or not,...anything affecting foreign investors,...OR benefiting investors further to attract foreign investments.

Be careful about nominee accounts,... you will have to apply to go for AGMs. For Standchart 'nominee' accounts, there is no minimum fee. Just 0.20% on top of the transactional amount.

SC is not convenient for me... so far i only have Philip , Lim & Tan and OCBC....
