diversify from reits. How about transport stocks? The brokerage’s preferred stocks for the sector are ST Engineering and ComfortDelgro, as they offer yields of 4.6% and 4.5% respectively. |

QUOTE(Hansel @ Oct 1 2015, 10:55 PM) Hi Bro,... I use DBS Bank, and I use DBS-Vickers as my Singapore brokerage. ALL transactions in DBS Bank and in DBS-Vickers (DBSV) can be performed online, UNLESS if you are attending to a Rights Issue exercise, then you may need to go down to Sgp to do some small activities. Hi Bro,But, let's leave out this thing called a Rights Issue at the moment. The first time when you need to set-up the account, you need to go down to Singapore and meet-up with the DBS branch from where you would like your account to be set-up. After your account is setup, you will be given an id, a password and a security token, with which you can use to log-on to your account from Malaysia, and from anywhere in the world. When you open your DBS Account, open a normal Savings Account and a Multi-Currency Account (MCA) at the same time. With the MCA, you can deposit funds of different currencies into that account into different pockets inside that account. I'll stop here, bro,... think about this, and ask me any questions you would like to. Can Malaysian subscribe Singapore Ipo? and what are the procedures ? tqvm |

QUOTE(nikazwa @ Dec 20 2016, 04:02 PM) QUOTE(elea88 @ Dec 20 2016, 04:36 PM) Yes, can subscribe. You need to do so via an approved ATM (normally DBS/POSBANK ATM), you need to have a CDP Account and you need some funds to be allocated for the IPO subscription, in case you get it. hence, you need to fly down if you're from KL. |

May I know if my shares are held in direct CDP account in SGX and if there is an upcoming rights issue, can the rights issue subscription form reach me in Malaysia in time???? I see that there are only 2 weeks between date pf despatch of forms from Singapore and last date of acceptance. Has anybody had any experience subscribing to rights in Singapore?
