Bros… just an unfortunate suspicion here…
SBS Transit might LOSE the Tampines Bus Package… results of tender to be ann’d this mth or early-September… just my thinking….

I bought in too earlier…. Selling before news is one tactic…

Referring to above input back in Jun 13.
At 11.20 am in SG yesterday (as per SG Time Region), Boustead SG announced they have filed for a REIT listing for its holding of its SG logistics & industrial assets.
The REIT is coming…. ‘to screw….’, some shareholders said earlier…lol…
But F9D’s valuation will rise with the above action.

Yeah… it’ll probably be named Boustead REIT, perhaps eith additional deacriptions. Properties are abailable in SG, & generally this type of assets in SG will do well, except for business parks.

I’ll do more research later & input here…I’ll go post something in my ‘Europe Stint’ thread first…

Boustead is helping UIB Hldgs yo listbthis REIT. Assets in SG, China, Japan and Vietnam. Not too sure if these assets are wuality ones… must wait gor the prospectus to be logged into MAS OPERA.

Mapletree Logs Trust’s assets in China are ‘suffering’….

The lender posted a second-quarter year-on-year net profit rise of 1 per cent to S$2.82 billion, beating the S$2.79 billion consensus forecast in a Bloomberg survey of six analysts.

Investors and analysts’ optimism for the Republic’s bourse – especially regarding its blue chips – go beyond just index and stock-price rallies.

Ann’t has been made. The assets that will be injected into the REIT are 21 industrial & logistic props in SG, and 2 similar-use props in Japan. So…. No China, no Vietnam properties in the REIT. For further infos…

Bros… Keppel DC REIT has ann’d a Pref Offering yesterday evening, your time…..

I’m still studying it… but it’s worth it… the DC in Japan has an existing long-term tenant and it’s worth it…

Bros…. Centurion Accomodation REIT opened trading at 98c at 2 pm your time. IPO subscription price was 88c…
Untung 11% immediately… but can’t get many allocations…

Centurion jumped up 4c now….

Preferential Offering Exercise has been completed 2 days ago, with all custodian acct-holders having received their entitled shares and the excess they applied for. All eligible unitholders managed to secure excess shares.

I am talking abt Keppel DC REIT. Entitlement is 80 units for 1000 units in-hand. Price is $2.24.

Congratulations to all unitholders. KDC REIT’s unit price today hovers above $2.37.

If he has. DBSV acct., this means he has a CDP Acct… To open a CDP Acct, he must have a Savings or more acct in one of 5 banks. He will have to opt for a DCS - Dividend Crediting Service with the SGX, and in this activity, nominate an acct for the dividend to be credited into.
After the above has been done, the dividend from DBS will be credited into the nominated bank acct…
The dividend cannot be credited into MooMoo SG after the shares have been transferred to CDP.
There is no charge at CDP’s end for transferring shares into CDP, but that was what I experienced. Not too sure abt MooMoo’s charges.

Hoped the above lengthy reply addresses all questions in the posting.

You can either,... go the IB route that Ramjade has proposed to you,... or,...

You can open a Maybank SG acct, and using this acct, you can open a CDP acct.. With a CDP acct in-hand you can buy SG shares and have your dividend credited into your nominated bank acct when you activate the Direct Crediting Service after opening a CDP acct..

But it might be costly to buy shares from any of the brokerages in SG compared to IB, because the cheapest minimum charge out there is the DBSV's Cash Upfront Acct, which still charges you $10. The Cash Upfront Acct 'pulls' money from the DBS Multi-Currency Acct, and it is,... relatively expensive to open this acct..

Hoped my infos above are of the latest. Been a long time that I have not studied these mechanisms.

Those who can open brokerage accounts in SG can do so and those who don't intend to but still intend to buy a good dividend share can consider FSMOne Msia, MooMoo Msia or IBKR to hold your DBS shares.

Prepare your funds.

More ann'ts on this in the first qtr of next year, probably before CNY.

Have an early Prosperous CNY,....
