To me, Silverlake Axis is a timebomb. The majority shares are owned by one man. If he ever decides to 'makan' investors, well, honestly, I don't think our SGX and our MAS can stop him. Investing in SAL is like investing into the health, well-being and contentedness of this one man. Ex-IBMers in Malaysia and Singapore who have worked with him back in the 1980s would know well the genius in him,... Beware,....

Update : Am topping-up on Keppel Corp every time it drops below 5.30. This counter is worth collecting...

Looks like all my targetted counters are green today,... A sign of the resilience of my watchlist,...

Tq bro,...

Hmm,... looks like the opportunities to buy is not high anymore, with the counters appreciating again. Starting from today, there are only another 30 days to load-up before SCB kicks in the minimum $10.00 brokerage fee.

The biggest gainer among Singapore’s stocks this year is a foreigner.
Thai Beverage Pcl has jumped 36 percent to a record in 2016, benefiting from rising consumption in Thailand, where stimulus and low interest rates have driven the benchmark index to the highest level in almost a year. Singapore’s equities market, by contrast, is a laggard in Southeast Asia, suffering from lackluster growth at banks, developers and oil-rig builders. Thai Beverage’s return this year is almost triple that for the second-best stock in the Straits Times Index.
