To make a long story short    :-

1) Can buy USD-denominated Stocks and REITs in the SGX to help you invest your USD Cash.

2) If buying stocks listed in The US, it's better to go for capital appreciation rather than dividend because of the 30% withholding tax imposed.

3) When I say USD-denominated Stocks and REITs, I meant to say stocks and REITs listed in the SGX which are traded in and 'dividend-paid' in the USD, not the SGD. Kindly do not be confused between USD-denominated Stocks & REITs and US Stocks & REITs.

SGX got few of them... be honest. You got a lot cash then only talk about usa market.... SG market actually enough for me.

fyi, some of us here are earning RM and keep changing SGD to invest in SGX market. and the exchange was not favourable to us most of time. Hope you understand us.

i know because this is lowyat forum.... thats why i gave my idea .. SGX actually enough for all of us to growth our wealth.... no need to talk about UK / US stock... (Personal View only. )

yeah.. so, on top of trying to get good stock prices.. also we hv to monitor forex exchange...

and the sad thing is, in SGX BANK.. money cannot even earn FD INTEREST!!!!

Guy's any idea what happened to M1 Limited (B2F)? Share price has been declining since Apr'15 (about 40+%).
From the surface (financials and presentation slides), they seem to be doing okay.
Div yield and biz model looks attractive to me.

I am also taking a look at Singapore Exchange Limited (S68) and Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Z74).

I noticed SG counters seem nice to trade up and down haha
A number of good dividend paying counters too.

M1 share price drop drastically might due to 4th telco threat as they are the smallest telco company in Sg and biz model mainly is in telco, not like Singtel which has more diversify to other biz.

Btw, the forth telco seems to be firmed but winner is not the red-hot MR .

I noticed this:
From the looks of it, M1 should gain from this deal if they are leasing out their excess capacity for a decent profit margin.
Only issue I can think of would be whether Circles.Life may potentially eat up a huge chunk of M1's market share, which I'm sure they would have thought and strategise carefully enough on this before proceeding to help them out.

I jumped in ocbc today. keep accumulating despite of bloody on the streets.

btw what is cdg?
