MacOS X Converting Medias, RMVB to AVI/MPG

Hi All...

I've been searching all over the place for any softwares that can convert RMVB files to avi.. nothing out thr seems to be able to the job for macs... does anyone out thr know of any tat can do the trick?... paid or freeware... Cheers...

the site kinda suck man... the file's 30.6MB... u reach 30.6 MB n they'll tell ya connection reset by peers!... 3 times.. same result... it's crap really... dunno if the program works or not... will try again later in the afternoon...

dude... on a separate note... sani_othman's avatar is rather rockin man...

and unfortunately, my secret hv been revealed... it's quite late now in Madrid... Capello's a slave driver... hahahah....

I use parallels + winxp, convert RMVB to AVI. Then in Mac OS, convert AVIs to MP4 or DVDs.

wei... wat windows program do u use to convert the RMVB?... if this ffmpegx doesnt work, i think i'll resort to installing parallels+xp in my machine... my only concern is do i need to install all the antivirus, antispyware also?... cause part of my love for the mac is i dont hv a single antivirus prog installed...

as long as you don't simply install stuff and surf net tru it i think you don't need to worry about antivirus. Hence, you're not doing important works on it, just converting media. If anything happen, you only need to remove the VM and start a fresh one tongue.gif I'm using Allok RM Converter, to get the nasty RMVB into more friendly AVIs biggrin.gif

Too bad there isn't a QT Component for RM files sad.gif Would make things so much easier.
