for entry-level use, most reccomended is GoPro Hero+, got wifi & bluetooth connection, battery built-in, lighter & more convenience to use for any adventure trips...

sorry bro... Gopro is not the best in the market... GoPro indeed the famous one... American good in making people believe they are the best even though it is not.


but for spec, quality, and versatility, Sony Actioncam win 9 street away.

accessories wise, GoPro is the most expensive compare all.

conclusion... if wan cheap alternative, go for XiaoYi... got budget go for Sony Actioncam. unless you prefer boxy design compare long slim design.
