The budget is vary depends on your needs. Below are some of my suggestion for your reference

1. If your budget is slightly flexible, you can plan a decent yet not too expensive package at Chinese Restaurant. Many Chinese Restaurant now do offer competitive rate (except those who are already very famous venue).

2. Only invest in basic things if you are not so flexible in budget wise. Focus on the day event, invest in One Photographer (videographer if you have additional budget) + a Good Wedding Emcee to live up your nights. Wedding Emcee (experience one) include services of planning your dinner together with you so that Both the Bride & Groom could focus more on their guest.
