I really tak paham. Is vernacular schools really that good? Its not like all of their alums turn out to be first class citizen. And national school is not bad if you filtered out the sampah. OK maybe the sampah % in national school is higher but that does not mean vernacular schools are way superior.....

Children are not racist by nature. However if they become one it is the reflection of their upbringing.

If sekolah jenis kebangsaan so good why they kena tapao when spm result comes out? Mostly MRSM and boarding school rule the ranking

Urgh, talk so much in this thread, this better, that better, but have no basis apart from hearsay or own experience, which are damn bias in my opinion. Statistics please people. Then baru ada bottomline.

QUOTE(sangkancil99 @ Sep 28 2015, 03:39 PM) QUOTE(dagnarus @ Sep 28 2015, 03:30 PM) http://www.nfnaf.my/2015/03/top-10-schools...r-spm-2014.htmltop 5 all Malay majority school, so apa bilang? Apa you cakap ni? high school mana ada lagi SRJK? The only chinese at secondary level is private chinese schools friend and these schools are purposely excluded from the list. http://www.efuxi.com/list_of_smjk_throughout_malaysia.htmlyou see, SJK does not limit to primary school only, there are loads of secondary SJK as well. SRJK and SMJK However, their performance are not that great. SPM result always kena tapao with other schools, maybe because the superior ones chose private or SMK instead leaving behind the ah bengs type.... QUOTE(bigwolf @ Sep 28 2015, 04:10 PM) Bro, you do know your suggestion can be implemented immediately, today? Vernacular schools will die a natural death once you have a better & superior education. No need to force close, just COMPETE, be the better school and let them close themselves. urgh, but vernacular school is not better and superior O.o statistics show otherwise already.

QUOTE(jays_on @ Sep 28 2015, 04:54 PM) Use UPSR statistics as thats where the bulk of SRJK students are. In menengah good ones go private, rich ones go international school, the poor and those that need help remain in SMJK. http://www.thestar.com.my/Story/?file=%2F2...orth%2F12341435this one is penang in 2012 due to the lack of other statistics. the result is not that great % wise for the no 1 SJKC He said SK Convent Green Lane was the top school under the national school category with the highest percentage of top scorers in the state with 39 out of 141 pupils scoring all As. SJK © Perempuan Cina was the top school for the Chinese school category with 36 out of 298 pupils scoring all As.

QUOTE(bai1101 @ Sep 28 2015, 05:09 PM) http://www.chinapress.com.my/node/580135Base on this article There is 7 school in klang Valley that hit 100% all subject upsr passing rate 4 out of 7 is sjk school Sk only 5 subject vs sjk 7 subject Are we interested in 100% passing or the highest % of scorers? IMHO, the benchmark is on scorers not on 100% passing. yes its' good to have 100% passing but if the number of straight A students dwarves that of another school who got 20% straight As with 98% passing, then it's obvious which one is better.
