Martial have to play as the striker to allow him to have more link up play with herrera and mata. Rooney play there means the link is broken left right center. He cant even hold the ball.. every touches also heavy.

Herrera and mata needs people to link up with them. Furthermore herrera did make some interception and tackle that stop mc from attacking. What luni did is just losing the ball. You can say their performance might be average.. but definitely not as bad as rooney.

He cant play as no 10 or cm too. He is not scholes.
