Letting go GBPUSD and GBPJPY trades, getting overly risky to hold on. Will re-enter short again if market allows it

Starting of the thread in October 2015 this TS buat bodoh ask people what's their opinion on forex. He claimed to have done thorough studies but still ask stupid noob questions. Then few pages later he suddendly can earn USD$1k+ trading. But most shocking of all is the last page tiba tiba he try to pull people to join his forex class, charging 4,000+ per hour, lol. What a shame to bring upon us genuine traders here. If you guys got time go bash him, lol

Aiyak, yea it's important to include the spread into SL calculation. Normally I'll take the current spread and x2 and put it into my SL

Phew closed with risk-reward of 1:4 Would have let it run since my TP is still further below, but its the weekend and I gotta sleep

Thanks normally I will also carry it through the weekend, but for this trade the downward trend just started. Over the weekend when monday comes, price can easily start near my entry and hit my SL.

I never used fibo in all my trading life. Feels like gambling to me since I dunno when & which fibo level will bounce off or breakthrough. I use pure price action and naked chart instead, I base it on how price was behaving before my entry. Not sure how to explain lol, but if you look at enough past data, you'll get the science of where to put your TP.

Last time I made exactly that mistake, when winning faster close trade, when losing always hope that the trade will reverse and win In the end horrible risk-reward all the time

Nowadays win or lose I try not to bother about it, just let the market prove whether my entry and exit is right or wrong. If wrong, my lost is worth it cause I learn something new and update my trading journal

I'd suggest you cut loss right now, news such as these can make the currency go in one direction fo a long time before coming down, if it ever does.

Thats the trouble with news trading, even if data is good, price can go in the opposite direction. Btw price action was weak for buying, this sudden opposite movement could be to trap traders before going in the true direction.
