Hi all. Instead of trading myself, is there a way to generate passive income through forex? My friend told me that there is. Minimum amount 1k usd. Monthly dividends of 12-20%. It sounds too good to be true thus the hesitation.

He can guarantee that I can get 12-20% of my capital every month. And I can withdraw everything (capital + earnings) out anytime (in accordance to processing day(s) of course)

Do you have his equity curve from the statement? Could you post it here so that I could see if he is using a martingale strategy or not, etc.

How long is his track record?
*
No I don't have. His record is about 8-10 months. Still the same question though, how can I prove if he's legit?

8-10 months is quite good. But again, without any statement I cannot judge because 12-20% a month is possible.

You have to talk to him, tell him that you are interested but would like to have the statement or investor's account for analysis. That's is the only way to tell if he is real or not.

Banks gurantee you 3% per year, this guy promises you 12-20% per month?
For me when someone "gurantees" something most probably becareful,
but 12-20% ok lahh, normal, easy thing to do is, ask for

1) his investor's password (if he dunno what it is or say means red flag)
2) his statement or myfxbook (if he can't give you means red flag)
3) is he consistent on his gains? how big are his drawdowns (drawdown more than >20% = red flag)

If he wants to provide a service, this are the main things you should ask for,
otherwise it is anyone's right to keep it private nod.gif

Yes, I always withdraw through my cc.

Yes, your balance will become 3k, it is just like a normal savings account.

To withdraw, you can choose "Advance Cash" from the ATM machine.

you can generate passive income through fxcopy system (fxcoliseum as example). There you can autocopy from any good trader and get as high as 100% profit per month, or maybe more. Or you can put your trading account there and let people copying your trade. Thats mean you get more passive income.

Minimum amount can go as low as 100usd because you can change %lot multiplier.
