changing mobo mean your oem licence gone. you'll have to buy a licence to activate windows 10, or....

QUOTE(lucifah @ Sep 26 2015, 11:09 PM) use phone activation and tell your story to them. most of the time it works. I just contacted Microsoft support online, telling my story, checking the database for my OEM Key Code for almost 1 hour and still failed to activate back my license, he suggested to give him permission to do the online support which I don't feel comfortable but still taking my chances since my PC not keeping confidential info. My old OEM Key code still failed to activate, with my further bragging on my story then he said he can generate me a new code for win 10. Within mins now my window 10 activated with new Code. Hahahha Thanks for helping lucifah This post has been edited by bulma06: Sep 27 2015, 01:33 AM

First time called they want me to do clean install from original 8.1 but the old key cant be used anymore. Second time install, they (another guy) straight away they told me to contact my oem provider for a key replacement, which pretty much fuck up if you do the free upgrade like mine from oem. They said we can call them to reactivate back if change motherboard (due to motherboard failure) on a same PC, but looks like it's all bull shit talk. No more support for them, I will either go pirate or find a cheap key online.
