Hey guys, I need some opinions regarding whether if I should downgrade my X-T1 to a X100T. I love the X-T1 to death and I have the XF23MM. Because of work, etc.. I don't shoot as much as I used too. I feel it's such a waste to leave the camera on the shelf most of the time, therefore I'm wondering of downgrading this kit with the X100T. I travel a lot and carrying it seems slightly bulky.

My question is, based on my current kit versus the X100T, will I be missing out a lot of the functions? Anyone gone through this phase and kind enough to share with me, your experience.

Thanks!

Having used both of them during my recent trip, I think there won't be much functions that you might miss from the XT1 that you can't find on the X100T. However, do not that the XT1 is WR while X100T is not, so if shooting in outdoors, or raining then XT1 is still the way to go. With the X100T, you can just strap it around your neck and you wouldn't need to bring a bag.

Thank you for the feedback. I read and compared the both spec sheets and I'm quite sure I won't be missing a lot. Losing the WR doesn't bother me at all since I never get into wet or snow condition. Mostly, sunny or sandstorm. The mobility of the camera and the size is quite important to me since I travel quite a bit.

Thanks again!

18mm is my favourite focal length too as I only bring X70 out now.  biggrin.gif

Hey Xiia0Ban,

What accessories do you have for the X70. I'm getting mine this week.

Anyone knows where I can get the Wasabi Power battery packs in Malaysia?

Hi there! Apologies regarding the sale post. Edited and it's found in my sig. =)

If you're interested, I don't mind. I'll be returning to Dubai on Saturday and would love to let go this as soon as possible. I can DHL either from here or Dubai, but postage you have to bare. Hahahha.

I see. I haven been to Pulau Carey before. Only went Pulau Ketam last few months. Pulau Ketam not bad IMO.
Maybe I shd try Tanjung Sepat orang asli area. Not too far also. But I did google and saw breathtaking kampung shots in east malaysia.  thumbsup.gif
