QUOTE(lowkl @ Jun 14 2016, 03:04 PM) If it can fit within your budget, the XF 18-55mm is the one to go for. Most agree it is the best kit lens for ANY brand camera. I see, was thinking to get a 23mm 1.4 prime.Of course this is if you intend to use the kit lens at all or will be using primes most of the time. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 15 2016, 03:48 PM) If my cash flow permits. Argh so many to choose from.........but seems that the cashback promo price still exp than kldslr or even lazada. Actually the extra gift can obtain if it's m'sia set right? even i bought at lazada.I like wide lens. If wide, you can try 18mm or 14mm or even 10-24mm. So you will need more than one lens. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 15 2016, 04:14 PM) Why don't you buy the body only then buy 18-55mm separately? You will get 300 + 400 cash back? if buy seperate at fuji xt10 and 18-55mm is RM 2338 + RM3038 = RM5376 (after both deduct cashback). so 5376 and 3340 very diff ler. or I cannot count like that? |

QUOTE(lowkl @ Jun 15 2016, 06:54 PM) Firstly, isn't it RM3338 for the X-T10 body under this promo? Taking into account the cashback, won't that be RM3038? Or is the listed price *after* the cashback? Ya. 3038 is after cash back. you're right. It's ridiculous to go for cashbackIf you are looking to get the X-T10 body & 18-55mm XF lens, it would be ridiculous to go for the cashback; the kit combination which will get you exactly the same thing costs less, even when you factor in the cashback. I would think the cashback offer only makes sense if you were looking for something that didn't come in a kit package; eg. not looking for a zoom at all. To buy body and kit. It's way cheaper to buy kit combination at other reseller. Tbh, I feel this promo is worth more if u buy at other reseller coz they offer cheaper price and u can get this cashback as well when u register the warranty. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 15 2016, 11:23 PM) He is one of our favourite sellers. ya was thinking to get 23mm first as I want the 1.4 bokeh enough. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showuser=206177, https://www.facebook.com/OzzyOneStopPhoto/ I always WhatsApp him for faster reply. I bought my X-T1 with just 23mm then expanded to 18mm and a telezoom lens which I hardly use. In love with prime lenses though mid-zoom lenses are convenient. QUOTE(lowkl @ Jun 15 2016, 11:34 PM) Purely my opinion: you will never be able to get the kit lens at the kit price ever again (talking about new lens). However cash back offers happen at least once a year. ya, thats is the point i'm hesitating also. if the 18-55mm is really really worth to have then will buy with kit. But i'm definitely will buy the 23mm 1.4 lens as i want the 1.4 bokeh. The 18-55mm covers the 23mm field of view, although you lose 2.5 stops. You sound like a seasoned photog, so most probably you know the kind of photography you concentrate on. |

QUOTE(Xiia0Ban @ Jun 16 2016, 01:49 PM) Definitely not enough to tahan. It depends on how you shoot, sometimes 1 battery can last me for 2 -3 hours. QUOTE(lowkl @ Jun 16 2016, 02:02 PM) Strongly recommend a spare (or even two!). Please don't compare with"normal" dSLRs as the electronic viewfinder also consumes power. Also based on the X-E1 I find that the moment the low battery indicator comes on, there's only a couple dozen shots before totally flat. I haven't tried them myself, but a lot of people recommend the Wasabi compatible batteries. If I needed more I would go for them. QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 16 2016, 02:13 PM) My one battery can tahan for one whole day or 1 1/2 days. X-T1 user here. But I still have another battery as spare in bag and always interchange the battery. QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Jun 16 2016, 02:34 PM) Alright thanks guys for the info. Contact Mr.Oss for the pricing. Tq to fruitie for the recommendation. Anything else recommend to have along side with xt10? 😋 |
