Guys, im currently own fuji x-t1, sold my 27mm & 60mm, in dilemma & thought of this 2 option
1. selling the body and replace it with sony rx100 m4 or m3.
2. or buy a new/used 16-55mm f2.8 lens for my x-t1
sometimes i just want an ultra portable camera like the sony rx100 that can easy fit in my pocket and cover a bit wide range of focal length and also have a good video quality. bought a used sony rx100 m2 for my gf and im kinda like it A LOT
.
usually doing part time of helping my friend to take some pic and VIDEO on their event. the fuji kinda makes me look like some kind of professional
, but the sony rx100 just look like a normal compact camera. dunno whether should i care about "the look" or not
sony rx100 m4 or m3
+ nice pic quality
+ great video quality
+ ultra portable
- looks like compact camera
fuji xt1 + xf 16-55mm f2.8
+ GREAT pic quality
+ looks very professional
- normal video quality
- portable than DSLR, but not so ultra portable
- need to fork out $$$ for lens (16-55mm f2.8)
need ur guys unbiased opinion on this
Sound like you emphasize on ultraportability and decent video quality, I would say go for the RX100. 1. selling the body and replace it with sony rx100 m4 or m3.
2. or buy a new/used 16-55mm f2.8 lens for my x-t1

Then again, no harm having two types of camera for different occasions right?
