Hi, planning to get X-T1 soon. Any comments on the kit lens? Many people online said that the lens is better quality than standard kit lens of other manufacturers.

Im coming from x100, totally in love with that camera but figured i need abit more zoom for travelling.

Any XF 15-55mm or XF 18-135mm users here?
*
16-55 or 18-55? both are excellent lens in my opinion? Zoom? Try the 50-140 brows.gif

fujifilm cash back t&c
1. Purchase the camera/lens at any authorized FUJIFILM Malaysia dealer or reseller between 15 June 2016 and 31 July 2016.
2. The purchaser must register their camera or lenses at http://ewarranty.fujifilm.my within 14 days of purchase.

Means as long as if my invoice/bill date is 31 july or before, can submit claim for cash back latest by 13 August 2016. yeah?
*
Well, just to be safe, it's better for you to register latest on the last day itself due to this clause under free gifts:
3. The on-line registration form will be closed at 23:59pm 31 July 2016 Just to avoid any issues arising from cash back laugh.gif

I'm using XT-1 actually and I love every bit of it but I'm not sure if both X-T1 and 18mm can fulfill your budget. Probably used units. hmm.gif However, not easy to find the used units..
Anyway, I just received updates on my Apps Store for Instax Share app, it's now updated for SP-2. I quickly Googled because I don't recall there is any refreshed model yet. It is still a rumor yet but I'm surprised the app has been updated to accommodate it. laugh.gif
http://www.fujirumors.com/fujifilm-instax-...trusted-source/

Can't wait for it, I bought the SP-1 for my friend and I always use it when we travel. biggrin.gif Now I will buy it for myself. biggrin.gif

SP-2 expensive le..... bangwall.gif

QUOTE(Grajindo @ Jun 27 2016, 01:22 AM)
yea, I'm trying to aim for used unit.

btw, do you know is there any showroom here in kl where i can try fuji stuffs?
*
Fuji has no show room. They use to have retail outlet but already closed that down. I recommend just dropping by any shop you are convenient with to see if anyone will let you try.

Just get the Asus GX700 brows.gif brows.gif brows.gif You won't be able to complain about the weight because instead of a backpack, they give you a trolley bag so it's easier to lug around

Hey guys, I am considering to go mirrorless soon.

I believe that image quality by the then XT-2 would have caught up with the D750 full frame,

20% of the time, I capture with high ISO up to ISO 3200/6400, hopefully the XT-2 ace in Low Light without much softening applied...

From my current setup, here's a summary

Nikon D750 - Great camera, best bang for bucks Nikon full frame
Nikon 24-70 - Absolute beast in autofocusing, and love this lens to bits
Nikon 16-35 - Love the VR
Nikon 50mm
Nikon SB700

Since Fuji crop factor is 1.5x, will the size of the lens end up like Nikon DX as well  cool2.gif  cool2.gif

Yet to do much research on Fuji, considering to go Fuji mirrorless purely because of weight saving factor..
*
Nikon 24-70 = Fuji 16-55
Nikon 16-35 = Fuji 10-24
Nikon 70-200 = Fuji 50-140 thumbsup.gif

I heard that the Fuji 18-55 2.8 - 4.0 is better than the Fuji 16-55...

Fuji 18-55 got OIS somemore, great for night shots and video biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

Though I don't own this lens but I was told Fuji's 18-55mm is the best among other brands.
*
Well the price tag is the most expensive among it as well. I do prefer the 18-55 rclxms.gif

I have the 18-55mm fuji with XT1 and X70.
Thinking about getting 35mm f2, but would it be some kind of redundancy... with what I have now?

But really tempted by the 35mm size and f-stop. Was thinking if so, I can just take XT 1 35mm along with X70 out during normal times. Just a hobbyist. Not a professional.

QUOTE(Xiia0Ban @ Jul 5 2016, 01:10 PM)
I have the exactly setup and I thought of selling the kit lens and get prime lens instead. Smaller setup compared to xt1 with kit lens.
*
Depends on what you actually shoot, it could be a good idea to sell the 18-55, get a 10-24, 35 f2 and 56 apd hmm.gif

Hi Guys,

What do you think of the 16mm F1.4, Seems like not much ppl using own this lens or like to use one. Or is it because it is still a relatively new lens in the market? I find it quite hard to find sample photos or review compare other lenses.

I am considering getting the 16mm as the only lens to goes with xt10 for traveling. What you guys think? Any owner of the 16mm here?
*
I've used it before. It's rather sharp. The lens is left in the office though. Maybe some sample pics after raya if possible.

You can drop by to Fujifilm Malaysia office on the ground floor at Menara Axis at PJ as the service center has moved there already. If you online registered for the warranty then all you need to do is just bring the lens over. Working hour is 9.00am - 6.00pm (Monday to Friday) . Take note lunch hour is 1.00pm to 2.00pm. As for how long they'll need to service the lens.. I can't say. Now raya ma..

The shop I'm working for has a good relationship with majority of the brands. In the end, we hope to get the best treatment when we are the consumers ourselves. If I can help out everyone, why not 😄.
