As others havr mentioned make sure brightness is set to auto because that will allow it to boost pass the static maximum brightness, also make sure you didn't disable sunlight readability under Extras->Color Profile that'll allow the screen to change the color to a more viewable pallete under sunlight.
What is the brightness level that u all set? I set mine at 40% with auto brightness and sunlight readability on, the visibility under the sunlight is still bad.. I will set the brightness level to 100% and test later, but isn't that higher level of brightness drains the battery faster..
