Got my 950 XL last Saturday with the Display Dock from DirectD.

True, I admit that there are some quirks when using the phone because of the still beta OS. But nothing so major that it disturbs me.

Continuum is the reason I wanted this phone. And it really showed when I was in a presentation this week.

Laptop provided by organizer was not working. So since I had the display dock in my bag, plugged in everything, and for a short time my phone was used for the presentation before a spare laptop was brought in. Needless to say everybody was impressed by the Continuum feature.

I'm going to look for portable keyboards (and if there's such a thing, a portable monitor) to complete my 'Continuum set'.

Hi,

I've got a problem with my 950XL. Lately it seems to restart and hang (non responsive, completely dark screen) quite often, which requires me to either reset using keys or to take out the battery. Sometimes when it happens, the phone becomes really hot as if doing a lot of work, but it is non responsive.

I have updated it recently, as well as all of my apps.

Can somebody help me to solve this problem?

Hey kayk,

I sent it to Microsoft 2 weeks ago. They checked, and found out the motherboard got problem. Fortunately still under warranty. Prob is, up until now the spare mb has not arrived, so i'm still stuck with my backup phone (a 1020, which has a dying battery as well).

If resetting to factory does not solve the prob, it might be the hardware.
