Something to add in, there is still some bugs in the phone, for example, the notification center: when a new message comes in (e.g. wechat), it show notification in the notification bar, if u open the app DIRECTLY to read the msg, the notification icon is still remained at the notification bar until u clear it. I am not sure if anyone else notices this or not.

As for the screen display, it is gorgeous IF u view in indoor, but not under the sunlight. I find the visibility of the screen under the sunlight is not that clear.

The IRIS scanner does not work all the time, nor it works fast everytime. Most of the time, i would rather just swipe to unlock the screen.

As for the people who complain lack of app....I dont think this is a problem of the phone itself.. it is the problem of the developers who never want to make the app available in the Windows store.

Guys, need help, I preordered mine on Lazada at 10/12/2015 14:04:48, but since then, not a single update. Even the confirmation email I didn't get. Usually when we buy at lazada, will get confirmation email right? Not this one. This is my order details:



As you can see, it said the ETA was 18th December, but I've yet to receive any updated from them. Not even a tracking number. I've contacted Microsoft Malaysia and they gave this useless reply:



I also contacted Microsoft Lumia Malaysia, which they straight ignore me. So I called Lazada yesterday, it said to check on me and get back to me later, and just today they called me and said that they contacted the "merchant" as in MS, and they confirmed it that it's going to be deliver starting 15th of January!! I was like WTF??? Why? If knew this will happened, I wouldn't pre-ordered it in the first place. Better off getting it in store. Do you guys have any idea what this is happening?

I'm a loyal fan of Microsoft and this how they treated me? I've had Lumia 800 and now using Lumia 930 since it launched. I've always bought the latest flagship Lumia, yet this is what I get? Not cool Microsoft, not cool.

Things to note:
- I noticed they changed the product title to (ETA: 15th January) last week.
- I'm using Maybank 0% installment on Lazada and successfully checked out.
- Until now the order status still "processing"
- They say they are going to email if I ever get to be the first 100 that will receive the dock, yet not a single email either from lazada or microsoft.

p/s: I envy u guys have the phone in hand already.. I'm crying over here..

Let's see if the auto brightness works better now. And wonder if the SD perf will allow my SD card to work with rich capture properly now, was taking a loooooong time to process previously.

Reading all the reviews on the net and this thread, i can say i am very glad i didn't buy this phone first. Was considered to pre-order from lazada few weeks ago, luckily i didn't.

Not to mention the fact that any other phone that runs Windows 10 right now is on the generic not for production Windows 10 build, you're really not supposed to be surprised that things don't work!

i wanna jump...but microsoft doesn't let me cause of the 950XL price

so now waiting for next year to see any interesting/good camera microsoft device have to offer.

hope have enough $$ for rumored-surface-phone...
