That's good price, don't think can get lower.

Yes tyres are lifed, like 5 years I think. So best to use it before expiry.

IMO for the price,MC5 are satisfactory performance and mileage. I'm changing at 50K km.

I was referring to don't let your fuel 100% empty lah bro. Better refuel rather than you stuck at the roadside.  icon_rolleyes.gif

The Balakong SC charge me only Rm497 & used Mobil 1 5W30 5 litre engine oil. Starting from Oct 2015, The Service advisor told me that Peugeot no longer using Petronas Syntium for Turbo Engine due to some technical issue on Turbo.
I feel Mobil 1 5W30 better....

really?! but all this while they been using petronas syntium. How bout Total Oil? did they said anytin bout it? coz im using total oil for my engine.

I'm also surprised that our engine has this premature carbon built up. But it happened, i was standing supervision during decarbonisation process. My mechanic snap those pics using my phone. The carbon residue is there...

Years back later i was read at the net that our engine was successfully tested up to 60k without carbon  built  up due to new mod intoduced for EP6CDTM.
For me any DI engine will experience this whether excessive carbon built up or not.

This is very subjective, driving style, combustion performance  as well as fuel quality. Since owning my lion every weekend i drive to KL from Karak. 1hr drive layan corner tekan kaw2. Happy pug!. Weekdays  drive 3km from home to office.
*
that is some serious carbon built up! does void warranty by doing decarbonizing? how much does it cost to do so?

Now that my car is 3+years already,i've decided not to bother about the +2 warranty. This +2 warranty seems to be a gimmick. Warranty claims appear rather vague.

That means i'll b doing all my maintenance and repairs at an independent workshop. In fact have stared already, just changed left rear ABS sensor outside.

I am a firm believer on Mobil 1 or Amsoil for many many years already. IMO these 2 provide the best protection. Good to hear Peugeot Balakong is now offering this oil.

hi SKYjack.. I believe the SC told me, it might be HPFP problem. Do you know how much this item cost outside? As I might need to bare the cost myself, due to warranty void already.

All the Peugeot SC now offering Mobil 1 & Total. No more Syntium oil for Turbo Engine. The advisor told me that Syntium Oil causing sludge build inside Turbo return pipe causing Turbo Jammed.....

After few times of Temperature fluctuation incident happens while driving, Finally get the Sensor replacement under warranty last week at Bi Marque Juru,Penang Citroen/Peugeot SC.

But they just add another optional sensor to overcome the issue..... New design frm Peugeot.

But they not able to solve my Rear Boot switch function fault issue. Yesterday, i went to Peugeot CS Euro Bw, They order for me a New Boot switch from France. Apart from that, i found there is a minor Leaking on the Engine Valve Cover & Both Side mirror V Shape rubber tear into pcs......All claim under warranty & expected to get the replacement part in 2 to 3 weeks time.

Hope settle all the issue as Factory warranty end on 27th Dec 2015.....

The THP engine has 2 PCV route/hose. 1 is behind the the engine (which goes back to throttle) and 1 is from valve cover to the turbo. When there is boost, the back hose/route will be close off and all your bypass gas will travel through the front route (valve cover to turbo). When there is no boost, which is also majority of our driving style as we dont tekan all the time, the bypass gas will travel through the rear hose to the throttle.

OCC is install through at the front route (valve cover to turbo). I am not sure why you friend's OCC is empty. But it could be because never tekan often. I am not talking about 1 day tekan 2-3 times. I am talking about really aggressive driving where boost is always on and high rev all the time. Because, that is the only time where the engine will route the bypass gas through the front PCV, in this case, where the OCC is connected.

But i was also told by a very experience pug owner that it is not advisable to bypass or delete your PCV or put a OCC. Because the bypass gas to the turbo when you are boosting also serves as a form of extra lubrication and coolant to the turbo when it is on load.

Hope this sharing of info helps.

Hi, does anyone know which specific model of Aisin tranny the 408 Turbo AT6 is?

Or does anyone know the 1st to 6th gear ratios and the final drive ratio?

How about the lock-up point?

And most importantly, how is the quality of the after sales service?

Copy and paste from V3.

Hope to get some feedback here...
