I'm sure you know RV for any Pug is very low, likely less than $15K for your model! I've decided to keep my 2012thp as 2nd car for the family to use. Maintenance is reasonable at Pug independent workshops. I'm actually going to do some preventive maintenance next week. That should keep it running well.

Last month ran up to Penang. No issues , managed to get 7.5 ltrs/100 doing 150kmh.

You really think so? I've been contemplating on this. Yes I did gain comfort with series 50. At the same time I also felt slight loss of stability at corners (but i still tekan/layan corners from time to time lolz). Maybe bcz my tires are touring tires. Ok SKYjack, i think I'm gonna follow your advide, maintain series 50, but maybe get a better perfomance tires (been thinking about MC6 or SP4).

Guys, can I just use any OTC coolant or is there a specific type I need? Tried searching but I can’t seem to find anything conclusive.

From what I’ve read, the Toyota coolant is meant to be good, but thought I’d check first.

The hose connecting to the radiator popped off, draining quite a bit of my coolant (if not all). Not too sure why, and the SC won’t take it any sooner since they’re all full. So need to do my own fix till then. I’d probably need about 2L right? Or 3 to be safe. Or should I just go for the full 4L?

if better stick with "same colour coolant" for topup .. or get one original peugeot small bottle from shopee (i brought 1 cause my coolant will drop after some time)

Problem is I can't even see the colour since the reservoir is...well drained of coolant. Lol. I'm planning to go to Ace Hardware to get one while waiting to send in the car for service next week. Gonna get something just to tide it over till then. I've already re-attached and tightened the hose. Not likely for it to occur again (fingers crossed).

After the warranty period is over, I'm never coming back to the SC. I suspect the reason it popped off is because of improper placing/tightening, or the radiator top cover is just of low quality. Things were fine for a few years, and a few months after a product recall, things went hay wire.

EDIT: Could this be the coolant you're talking about? I checked on Lazada though since I have very little confidence in shopee

Yes, need to remove front bumper. Our headlamps and held by 3 bolts. One at bottom, two on top. It's quite easy bro. First time maybe you spend longer a bit. Once you get used to it, you will do it much faster😁😁

Mercedes generally pretty reliable on conti level. Hence u can see many owner service it outside at mercedes specialist workshop. Parts can be found at many place or even online, just make sure it is genuine

Or to be no headache, take japan car
