wow .. mind to share which SC is that ?
*
Sent you pm. Don't want to expose the SC in public because at least they admit they are wrong and they are the only SC which would allow me to keep changing my appointment date. They do also fixed my car ventilation issue on the spot with my second visit and complain. after all they are probably just overlook.

FYI my coolant is green in color (original from Peugeot SC).
*
Indeed it is blue with very minimal green tint when it is new. Service advisor told me ex owner probably replaced it with green coolant.

The technician who fixed my ventilation issue told me the coolant does turn to green after a long period.

Before change it was sort of light green.

After change it is blue with green tint. Probably due to a bit leftover.

Hi sifus

My Pug's front lip has come off after sustaining some damage. May I know where in KL/PJ I can get a decent replacement and how much will it cost?

Thanks!!
*
I thought that is just sticker? You could just peel off the sticker and polish. it will gives you the original paint.

Unless you are talking about this.

Hi, not unprofessional but unreliable/cheater/incompetent/complete waste. Peugeot is not a Tadika company. It already been here for along time. I wan to share my tragedy. Since my warranty expired, I began service at non-Peugeot workshop. I wanted to change the gearbox oil, for a shock, when drained out, there was only 1L gearbox oil instead of 4L. Where is the remaining 3L??? Masuk pocket foreman or masuk pocket Branch manager? Useless people making the brand also useless. I had to sold off my 2 Peugeot cars and got a H & N. A big tragedy over, I feel happier even-though I lost money due to this Useless Peugeot. Hope they will tutup kedai soon so at least people can be saved from investing in Peugeot cars.
*
Well some of the Peugeot SC senior technician actually know about their cars inside out. I believe it is their frontline does not have enough training or does not really know how to deal with people. They don't have a proper procedure to ensure quality control and makes customers happy.

Anyway,
Can I know if it is Aisin 6AT? Okay I'm not defending Peugeot SC and I'm not saying the non Peugeot workshop does not know about aisin 6AT but could it because they did not release both of the drain nut? Aisin 6AT drain/fill and level check does not work like conventional AT. For aisin 6AT you will need to first release the level check nut, which will normally gives 0.5 litre draining, then the main drain nut which will gives about 3 litres or less.

Newer transmission is kinda headache at maintenance. I remember I have seen a Volkswagen golf Gti does not take transmission fluid unless you pump them in.

May I know what part you posted?

Yup that's a sticker, but previously there was a front bumper lip underneath that came off.
*
Well it was bumper lips that I have shown you.

Spent a whole day over the weekend to install a 9 inches HU, front recorder, back recorder, reverse camera, extra cigarette socket, and etc. . No drilling and wire cutting.

wow .. nice ..
the existing usb port, mic can use back ?
*
Is there any existing usb port on the original headunit? I can't seems to find one though. Anyway, the 9" head unit comes with 2 USB port, I use one for car recorder, another one extended to the glove box.

I have no idea about mic indeed. Never bother connecting my phone to the HU.

ya ... there is a usb port in the arm rest ..
the mic is at the front room light there ..

last time i install the WinCE one .. overall i not so like .. then i put back the old HU ..

Wanted to try yours one .. found at taobao earlier .. but postpone the project first ...

Please give us a review also regarding your new HU ..  brows.gif
*
No idea about the armrest USB is actually connected to the HU. Anyway, the USB port at the armrest is never working fine from the first day. I thought it's a charger but never properly get my phone charged. Does it won't charge your phone? I will get it check by service center on the next service.

Mic is working if you connect your phone to the C panel. However, if you use the HU dialer then it will use the HU in built mic.

The HU is so far okay. No lag, strong WiFi and GPS. However, no Google play. I tried to install google store and so forth but it will fail when accessing Google play service. Some seller does offer HU comes with Google play at some amount though.

You may install apk like usual. Google offline maps will not work due to unable to sign in to Google. I have yet to copy the cache file from my phone to the HU though.

Physically the HU body is a bit thicker than usual but does not seems too awkward in my opinion though.

Hi sifus,

My 2016 408 2.0 NA roof fabric is dropping off.
Bought the car back March 2017.
Will send in to SC Jelutong Penang.

Any advise for temporary fix ?

Thank you.
*
I have the same issue where the roof headliner started to peel off. I use spray type adhesive and it works but the fabric already shrink a little bit. Use as little material as pissible as too much would penetrate the fabric.

BTW, after 1 month, upon checking with Peugeot warranty claim department, I just found out the shithole at Peugeot Kota damansara did not submit my warranty claim to HQ. Now I need to resend my car to HQ for inspection and warranty claim. So make sure you call the HQ few days after submitting the case for confirmation.

Thanks for sharing, friend.

May I ask how long does SC take to order and the time it take for them to replace or glue back the droop fabric ?
*
I can't confirm how long does it takes because I'm going to resend my car for inspection and open case.

Referring to other user it will takes 3 months for the item to arrive. They will replace it instead of repair.

i did change my compressor under warranty last time..
just send my car for HP pump and abs sensor (warranty and recall) ...
pending cooling coil for stock availability, but my cooling coil already koyak .. so no air cond ..  cry.gif
*
Just wondering is it possible to check the cooling coil size if you are getting it replaced? I'm thinking to get one ready as spare since so many evaporator coil kaput case. I assume it is Valeo climate control system though.

if your car is under recall .. i think you can start booking before it failed .. it take sometime for the stock arrival..
for my car ... if failed before the stock arrive ..  cry.gif

is it everyone 408t evaporator also kaput ?
if yes .. then really replace it before it failed .. no air cond in hot day really killing ..  mega_shok.gif
*
Indeed my evaporator coil is under recall. The last time I called I think they will put me on September (can't remember is 2018 or 2019).

I did check my aircon system and it is basically working in perfect condition (I checked the pressure myself at home). Not intended to have it replaced since it's perfect.

my case is last year Dec already notice not that cold ..
then have my car check .. pressure is still ok but gas is slightly reduce .. then refill the gas ..
then good working until May .. not cold already ..
then found out cooling coil leaking .. but refill and wait until recall ..
but only last 2 weeks ..  cry.gif
*
If it only last for 2 weeks after refill then it's kinda serious leak.

If it could last for few months you could actually refill the gas with sealer until your parts arrive. Sometimes it would works slowing down the leak.

for me 5 years usage, twice had compressor changed..
first time around 2.5 years, under warrranty
then latest was 2 weeks back, changed outside at Renautech.. now using POKKA brand from China..
then for ABS sensor, it is like a disease, one faulty, replace others will become faulty later...
so Peugeot this time they decided to change all 4 of my sensors, will do it this weekend
*
I'm wondering how could the original denso compressor from Japan break down that easily. Can I know was it low on refrigerant before the aircon compressor say bye bye?

About the Pokka compressor, can I know how does it looks like? Does it looks exactly the same like original 408 aircon compressor or it is slightly different where there's one extra cable adapter at the magnetic clutch?

hmm ... maybe i should do that earlier ..

see how ... if i cannot tahan then have to change the cooling coil outside ..

is OEM .. heard the aircond guy from Renaultech say that it can use .. but the sensor have to relocate .. if not will beku ..
while the original cooling coil is accurate ..
*
Never heard of using a OEM cooling coil will caused frozen issue unless blockage. If I'm not mistaken the aircon pressure sensor is located at engine bay near the coolant resavior. Not sure how are they going to relocate that.

Please do keep us update if you happen to get it replaced.

Compressor for peugeot turbo cars are prone to breakdown.. it uses different compressor vs the non turbo
mine the refrigerant still at good pressure
the one i just replaced, it is not 100% faulty yet but can hear knocking sound already thus anytime will just kaput thus i change it straight away rather than waiting it to kaput and without aircon

as for your question on the Pokka compressor, i'm sorry i can't answer now but i will try to check online if i can get you any of the photo..
*
Most of time it's probably just magnetic clutch failure. Another part where many people overlook is the solenoid (yes, magnetic related again) over the aircon compressor. If no leak, crack, or jam probably could look into these 2 parts.

omg...thank you so much, this is the acc and earth right? how bout the other one?
*
Well I don't know 408 has ACC. I thought it go straight to ON position.

Anyway, just tap to the reading light fuse would do. The rest of the fuse are kinda complicated due to economy mode and etc. You also want to avoid taking current from sensitive port such as airbag, esc and etc. If you are using Korean cam and using parking mode then look for always on port. Test it with multimeter. I remember the few 30A fuse at right most are always On fuse.

For the earth or neutral line just use the nearby metal which shown in the second pic I attached earlier.
