QUOTE(jfcheong @ Dec 30 2015, 10:08 AM) It is confirmed that aircon is covered under extended warranty. Eugyn had claimed that under extended warranty before. And for all the members' info, I claimed my ABS/ ESP sensor under extended warranty as well. How did it go? I mean the procedure on claiming faulty parts under extended warranty? Did they take their own sweet time?

QUOTE(EP6CDTM @ Jan 5 2016, 09:14 AM) guys, my pug has the same compressor issue but mine was more severe. The bearing broke and metal bits went into the system. They had to replace the condenser as well as the metal bits were clogging it. It took me 1 months to get it replaced. I was lucky as the car were still drive-able for the initial 2 weeks to wait for the whole compressor, 1 week to get the compressor installed and the final week to wait for the condenser to arrive and installed. My 60k kms major service were also completed at the same time. RM2.2k burnt!! I was told only PJ, Glenmarie and Balakong has actual air cond technicians (which are also outsourced) to repair the cooling system. If you send your car to any other SC, they will be driven to their panel repairer. oh yes, they also made a silent recall for the water pump. it was replaced FOC. Did you pay for the air conditioner compressor and the condenser or those were replaced under warranty/extended warranty?

QUOTE(EP6CDTM @ Jan 5 2016, 09:26 AM) everything FOC as my car is still withing manufacturer warranty Good to hear that. It's also good to learnt that they are aware of the water pump issue but too bad they are getting it rectified silently.

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Jan 6 2016, 08:49 AM) Twice for the compressor itself. Compressor kong first time, got it replaced after 2 weeks. 2 days later after the compressor replaced, the same symptom appeared, sent back to SC, diagnosed as compressor failure again. Got it changed again. What! Seriously? What compressor? Denso? And? Sanded? Or maybe due to workmanship?

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Jan 6 2016, 05:59 PM) Dont know what happen, the brand new compressor just gone failure in just 2 days. Most jialat is, after the 2nd compressor installed, the aircon is not cold. The SC cant solve, sent to their authorised aircon vendor, spent 2 days to solve it. Walao, kanasai, it certainly is jiaklat. I believe maybe it was due to poor workmanship from incompetent service team. Bearing can be delicate component, sometimes I notice they just wack it with hammer

QUOTE(vemaltech @ Jan 12 2016, 07:55 AM) Engine, gearbox n turbo unit as stated on extended warranty agreement. We can service outside, the problem is when come to computer checking, most of outside mechanic don't have the new canbus software for 408T as it equip with EP6CDTM with locked OBDII. All under licence. EP6CDT n EP6DT no issue. Didn't know the OBD II is locked. Meaning there is no way to pull the reading from the sensors using any OBD II device outside like the ELM 327?

QUOTE(azerak @ Jul 26 2016, 09:32 AM) dont think this is applicable anymore. this price was in 2015. im sure they have updated the price for 2016. Yeah, I think you're right. Updated with increased prices. Do you have the latest one so that owners here can use it as a service price guide?
