just curios.. if i have an asian xbox.. can i plug in the us ver of HD-DVD? its interesting if the answer is yes.. esp if it allows me to play us dvd & hd-dvd. will i end up having 1 region 1 (HD-DVD) and one region err whatever is the asia version is dvd?

Yes, you can use a US player with an Asian console and currently there's no regional division for HD-DVD. For normal DVD, it will follow the region of your console which means you can only play Region 3 DVD. If and when the organization behind HD-DVD decides to implement a region lock, I do not know how it will done or how they will devide the region. |
