Hi, My friend and I are planning to enroll into LLB @ MMU Melaka this June 2016. So, we need some of your advice and opinion on certain matters. 1- Accomodation http://vhanded.blogspot.my/2007/03/things-...e-study-in.htmlhttps://www.reddit.com/r/malaysia/comments/..._a_good_choice/- I already got some info from these websites. From it, we are thinking of skipping the hostel, Emerald & Ixora. Are Emerald & Ixora really that bad? - Is there any update that is worth to be noted, especially for University Green & Bukit Beruang University? Is there any other recommended apartment? - Are the landed houses nearby cheaper to rent compared to these apartments? 2- Transportation - How hard it is to find car parking spot in the campus for those who rent outside? - If we decided to keep bikes instead of a car, are the taxi there reliable & affordable? 3- Facilities - Any swimming pool, gym, or tennis court in campus? Thank you! This post has been edited by galaxy_hunter91: Mar 15 2016, 02:37 AM

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 15 2016, 08:31 AM) 1. Ixora and emerald are actually okay. But of course it depends on your definition of 'that bad'. Landed rooms are generally cheaper 2. Parking spot inside the campus itself is limited. There are ample space outside but not under mmu. There are taxis waiting outside the gate but taxi fares maybe a hindrance 3. Gym and tennis court yes. Thank you for the info. Both my friend and I are pretty particular with hygiene and noise So, hearing those unfavourable comments made us curious about it. Oh yaa, how frequent it will rain there? And is it worthy to sacrifice the comfort of a car and ride a bike instead?

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 23 2016, 11:50 PM) How frequent it will rain? Lol, same like other states depending on the season. car/bike both have pro and cons. We're from Kuching. And it rained frequently here. That's why we're curious.

Guys, I need your opinion here. I'm going to register at MMU Melaka this 19th June but I still haven't found any room to rent. There is one master room at Taman Muzaffar Heights, partially furnished for RM460(excluding utility). Is that a normal price at that area? Any opinion on the location(distance to MMU, neighbourhood, traffic, etc)? Thank you in advance
