I finally bought three of these amazingly detailed Hot Wheels Star Wars models, while at Mid Valley yesterday (went for both the Baby Fair and Star Wars exhibition - with that full-sized X-Wing on display in the Center Atrium!), and they are as follows: thumbup.gif rclxms.gif

By the way, the pack of five Star Wars cars looks cool too, but quite pricey though! sad.gif

Damn, the iPhone 6 has one heck of a superb camera and perfect for snapping photos of miniature models in crisp + clear image quality, that's for sure (owning any digital camera I had previously)! thumbup.gif

And yeah, I do agree that the shot of the Millennium Falcon is beautiful (together with the other two also)! rclxms.gif

Hey, I love this updated X-Wing too - very colorful and definitely stands out on its own, together with the white Millennium Falcon and all-black TIE Fighter. thumbup.gif

Three amazingly iconic Star Wars spacecraft, all miniaturized for us avid fans! laugh.gif

Wow, you guys have amazing collections! thumbup.gif

Let me guess, some of these were purchased at Toys R Us / Hamleys whilst others were from specialized model shops? laugh.gif

Number four is here (bought from Toys R Us today - when I was at Jaya SC for an appointment, haha! laugh.gif), and it's the original TIE Fighter, the one that's bluish-black in color!

These four iconic spaceships (Millennium Falcon, X-Wing Fighter, and the two TIEs) are being showcased in where else but my car? tongue.gif

That's admittedly an odd place for Star Wars stuff to be displayed but at least I can admire their beauty when driving, lol! laugh.gif

Well, they're at the center of the front dashboard and since the spaceships have no wheels, the chances of them flying away when hitting bumps or potholes (knowing our Malaysian roads) are lower! tongue.gif

Are some of these models shown in the Hot Wheels USA website available here or not? I already have the iconic Millennium Falcon, X-Wing Fighter, and two TIE Fighters (as shown in my signature) and wondering what else is there to get, with "The Force Returns" opening next month! hmm.gif

I did see this "Escape from Jaaku" play set going on sale in the Toys R Us at Jaya Shopping Center after my appointment there. That play set definitely looks quite cool and is priced at $100-plus (one nice way to let all four spaceships "blast" each other into oblivion, haha! laugh.gif).

Although I eventually bought the Hot Wheels TIE Fighter (the original one, which is bluish in color) instead! tongue.gif

Not too bad, quite creative! How did you do that? thumbup.gif

Hmmm, let's see - maybe I'll put the five Hot Wheels Star Wars spaceships together (the #5 came yesterday - it's a Rebel Snowspeeder) and make a photo of all of them blasting each other into oblivion, and see who wins... What Mac OS app is good for such funny dioramas then? laugh.gif

Like what ? X-Wing langgar TIE Fighter hmm.gif ?
Like how quite a few people did it here. Just look for a related background image (in this case a space battle scene) and just shoot the photo in front of the computer monitor by putting the props in front of it. This method I think may work for HW cars also... not sure... have to experiment hmm.gif

Yup, thinking of that... But as the Millennium is of smaller scale, I need to put it behind then - as if its a distance away from the TIE Fighters! laugh.gif

And I also have problems building BOTH a Hot Wheels and Lego collection at home due to lack of space - I live in a medium-sized condo and it's almost filled to the max with our household and other stuff! shakehead.gif

The Millennium Falcon made its way back to Earth but got pursued by three TIE Fighters, and is now under attack! blink.gif

Let's hope it can evade those pesky enemies! laugh.gif

(Edited using my Hot Wheels models together with Preview and PowerPoint)

Haha not bad. The satellite seems a bit out of place though. Should have edit that out laugh.gif

Well, from what I read, the Falcon now has a square dish, replacing the circular one that was destroyed in the events of "Return of The Jedi". Although it really does seem out of place eh? laugh.gif

Wah lau, what an amazing variety of Hot Wheels cars there... I want! laugh.gif

By the way, what do you think of those Hot Wheels cars sold at places like MyNews.com outlets? I think these are basic models right? hmm.gif

Oops, missed out that joker - but at least people on Earth can watch four spacecraft battling each other, on live TV! laugh.gif

Hahaha, I sent the Falcon back to Earth, since that ship is able to enter hyperspace without any effort at all! rclxms.gif

Too bad the TIE Fighters followed it all the way here - and a "Piu Piu Piu" battle has started! laugh.gif

Went to Jaya Shopping Center for another appointment today and decided to drop by Toys R Us, to try my luck with Hot Wheels stuff. And imagine my surprise when I found that "original" X-Wing Fighter that I was looking for, how lucky! rclxms.gif

Which means my collection of iconic Star Wars spacecraft is complete - Millennium Falcon, two TIE Fighters, and two X-Wing Fighters! laugh.gif
