but bear in mind, HW sales in US market per month is more than the whole of asia gather..

When I first started collecting HW and mbx when it was only priced at Rm2.50.. this was way back before 2000..
back then only buy a piece or 2 per month..

Then started back seriously in 2007 when the price was around Rm6.50..
Back then, even at price RM6.50 whe don't scalp..
We could still leave some behind and get them back again a few days later..

Then it rises till Rm6.90..
Collector complained about the increase but we still buy.. and didn't scalp still..
Then it rises from RM7.50 to RM7.90 but we can see, collector hoarding like nobody business..

Mattel is in the midst of revising the prices between them and retailers, and don't be surprise there will be a price hike again next year..

RM8 is the highest i seen. I think someone say 8.50 or 8.99? BTW i'm slowing to a snail pace also. Getting too stupidly expensive and hard to find cars that we want. I think i might have Netmall to dilute my stuff already. Some more buy 9 HW Star wars stuff recently.

the highest so far I have seen from RM8.50 in Petronas and some small bookshaps and some even at Rm13.. Petronas handled by Mothership Toys..
I don't hunt anymore.. just taking what ever leftovers from friends who hunt..
I can only score some nice cars only if it was overrun but quantity.. means. nobody wants them anymore..

Talk about mothership, anyone bought cases from them before? Stimyx recommended a place in Bangsar. I'm pondering to get a case of something from either these place.

Looking for this too - Batman v Superman Batmobile. Maybe next year easier to get once movie is released? Think will still be scalped though. Saw eBay going for RM 45.

cover whose cost of pegwarmers? mattel themselves? or the retailers?
i always thought that if retailers have some old stock, mattel will take all the old ones back, stock with new designs. then get rid of the old stock via warehouse sales or something.

now is released as part of B case, maybe some carry into C case. I dont think futures cases will have this model again (unless there is a color variation).
