On 21 September 2015, XPAX introduce FREE Internet Burung Hantu which provide FREE "Unlimited" High Speed Internet from 1 am to 7 am daily. There's a cap, you must subscribe to Monthly or weekly Internet plan to enjoy this benefit. In t&c of XPAX Burung Hantu haven't mention anything about maximum quota capped and just some kind of unlimited speed and quota. On the other hand, they stated there's a cap of quota in some of the website.

Theoretically, Celcom 4G LTE speed is around 10-50mbps, we can download up to 100 GB in this 6 hours time per day. If really get unlimited data per day, we can download as much as possible. I bought a Magic SIM and subscribe to monthly Internet, I will do testing for maximum download. Let's figure out tonight.

It's unlimited data now

After downloaded 100GB, internet speed become slow

Download can exceed 100 GB without problem, btw i have downloaded 500 GB still going on

This is not united states, so torrent is not blocked. But all major 4 telco had speed cap on p2p protocol.

I bought it on Monday. I am very impressed speedtest varies from 3mbps tp 35 mbps. but its free. other telcos and also tm should follow suit. at RM 25 its darn cheap. and my 1gb has yet to budge.

I got only H+ last night but speedtest still gives around 11/7mbps to 16/10 mbps. speed is unstable but still good. manage to update my laptop to windows 10 and got few movies downloaded plus updated all my ipad apps. total dl might have added up to 20GB.
Furthermore my 1GB quota yet to budge.

if you area is not covered with LTE network, there is nothing you can do though...

try to force your modem or phone to 4g mode.. i also have similar problem.. after forcing it i can get 4g lte. got 1-2 bar only but the speed is totally different from getting H+ signal

Just tried this burung hantu 2 days.. managed to get over 10mbps speed in my area. Now download speed is around 1.5 MB/s.. compare to my streamyx only 200kbps.. Nice!!!

I don't really expect other telco to do this. I look at this matter as if Celcom is stress testing their network rather than promotion.

If you are using Android phone then dial *#*#4636#*#*, then phone info > set preferred network type > LTE only.

Be sure to switch it back to LTE/GSM auto (PRL) after finish using because you cannot make/receive call with LTE mode only due to no VoLTE support yet.

Hi, im using my 4g usb modem..

I bought a new magic sim pack.
When i use it with my modem, it shows that i only connected to DC-HSPA+ only..
But when i use my other Celcom simcard, it show that im connected to LTE.
Do we need to upgrade the sim to 4g sim? sorry for the noob question

you got yourself a problem there. my advice, put back the old sim and wait for it to become inactive. then only change. if both old and new sim not active, then you got to go back to where you ported to sort it out.

it is said 4g will automatically be activated within 24 hours. if not, you got to call or chat with the CS.
