Just buy the cheapest. No significant difference except minor clock speed.
I have used many brands...ASUS, Gigabyte, Saphirre, PowerColor, MSI.
All no problems. Just don''t buy unknown brand you never heard b4.

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Sep 22 2015, 10:36 AM) U didn't add custom heatsink? just oc like that? Basically all vendors used custom heatsinks. I haven't seen any vendors with a reference design. It's just a matter of how good those heatsinks are. Anyway. OC GPU doesn't really bring much improvement. Coz most already OCed a bit by default. You can try your luck to push a bit more, but the difference is negligible. Gave up OC GPU long time ago.

QUOTE(jamilselamat @ Sep 22 2015, 12:40 PM) OCing GPU is still useful in situations when you want that extra frames to reach 60fps minimum, especially when you dont want to compromise detail settings. That said, i rarely overclock GPU these days. 1.3k isnt exactly pocket change for poor people like me, so i want to keep my GTX 970 working as long as i can. Thankfully i play mostly old games. OMG....you buy GTX 970 to play old games??? You orang kaya lah... My GTX 960 is for playing new games wei...no problems...maybe not 60fps for every games, but can reach 40fps also good enuff at 1080p.
