Moto G not charging and can't switch on.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
It's actually a common issue/battery flaw for moto g. Do not leave it fully discharge. If it did, try leave it there with few hour and subsequently charge it with a charger that output higher current rating, eg 2A. LED will then lights up and wait for a few minutes for the revival of it.
PS: Press it for 2minutes along with the cable plugging on it, it will start charging. (Recommended by LYN Moto G user)

my moto g was at battery level 80%. plug it to my pc via usb cable. then, it drop to 1% and power off the phone automatically, then restarted (because it's charging via usb)...and start at 1%.
shall i leave it to charge till 100%?
for those who have experienced this, what do you do?
QUOTE(Luftwacko @ Feb 24 2014, 11:53 AM)
wtf man, my phone went from 80% power down to 0% in just 1 restart.
So what you gonna do just charge back to full 100%, everything should be back to normal, is just an another battery mis-calibration, so don't worry.
How do I properly charge my device?» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
In order to keep the price low, Motorola made many cost-saving decisons. In this case, our research showed that many people already had a suitable Motorola charger available, or a PC or other device that can be used to charge Moto G.
Any Motorola charger with the correct micro-USB tip will charge your Moto G.
You will see the best results when the output of the charger is between 500 mA and 1.5 A. The higher the output, the faster your Moto G will charge. If your charger output is higher, the MOTO G will automatically restrict the charging rate. If your charger is lower, it will simply take longer to reach a full charge.Note: Some Non-Motorola charger fail to comply with USB Standards and as a result may cause device performance issues when connected to your Moto G. If you are experiencing issues please try either a different charger or connect device directly to a computer using a Micro-USB data cable.
If you are just setting up your device, new batteries are not fully charged. After connecting the charger, it may take several seconds to start charging the battery.
If your battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes for the device to begin charging. The battery needs to charge to a minimum voltage before the system can boot up, and this may take a few moments to achieve.During initial set up of your device, once you have added your accounts (Google and any others) your device will typically transfer significant data while it initially synchronizes your accounts and updates applications from the Play Store. Your phone's battery may drain faster than usual during this initial update and sync session. After the initial sync, and a few charging cycles, your battery will reach its maximum capacity. We strongly recommend keeping the phone attached to the charger during the initial sync.
It may take several charging cycles for your battery to reach optimum performance. When your device is turned on and you are charging, the battery icon in the top notification bar will show the charging indicator Image, which looks like a lightning bolt inside the battery.
When your device is turned off, the charging indicator will be in the middle of the screen looks like the outline of a battery. You may need to briefly press the power button to activate the screen.
We suggest charging each night so you start the day fully charged and ready to go!Your device will warn you when its battery is getting low, first when the charge remaining falls below 15% of its capacity, and again below 5%. When you see these warnings it is a good idea to charge as soon as you can and/or stop usage that could wait for a later time. For example - and depending on your circumstances and priorities - you could enter airplane mode to stop all radio transmissions, or stop applications that use a lot of energy (such as navigation or streaming applications).

Hi. Has anyone claim warranty from brightstar before? How long do you have to wait? the ghost touches on my moto g is getting serious and sometimes it just completely not responsive at all. also, i'm loosing sensitivity on the right side of my screen. I can only press the word "O". and I can hardly type the word "P". I've tried rebooting/resetting my phone and the problem still persist. Anyone experience such issue too?
QUOTE(bleong430 @ Feb 23 2014, 05:59 PM)
Anybody experiences ghost/phantom touches on their motoG?
Don't have problem with responsiveness - the touchscreen is responsive but at times it will just randomly pull down the notification bar and/or jump into the Date/Time settings page... Weird... Turning off/on the screen will usually fix the issue but just wondering if anyone else experiences it...
This happens before and after KitKat.

Just want to share, if u guys notice, after Kit Kat update there's no flash player supported in any browser app.
If you want to force enable flash supported in Dolphin browser app without root, I have found the solution from this page:
Enabling Flash PlayerIt works with Moto G. I have test it. But only for Dolphin Browser. Other browser app I didn't test it yet.
