I'm a foreign student in Malaysia and from my savings account money has been auto deducted in a day 736rm totally (In 4 times) by a Celebrity Fitness centre...

When I ask the center about this issue they are not responding properly and telling its their membership rules... I didn't get any services more than 4 months and my money has been cleaned out as for 4 months member fee.

Actually I used the GYM only for one month. But I paid first rm 500 include the advance payment and plus one month member fee 184 plus now 736rm for ONE MONTH GYM... After one month I had an emergency in my home country so I went there and told the Celebrity fitness to FREEZE my account until I back.
I stayed there 4 months. I returned back and checked my bank account they deducted as normal member fee.

When I seek the staff help they telling its their procedure and They couldn't do anything. I have proof to call their centre. But they denying.

I was not in Malaysia; I didn't use GYM more than a month; I informed them to FREEZE; I didn't give any authority to auto deduct.


I would like to know wther i can get my refund if i lodge dispute in Maybank..? Its a complete cheating by this fitness center.. We foreigners don't know all the procedures and when we didn't use a service they cant deduct my money right? I need some wise advise on this case. I hope follow friends will help come out of this hell.

You surely went and sign something that allow them to do that
