I want to know who will handle the emails sent to helpdesk.

Reason: if I report the wrong doings by some moderators via email, but then the same bunch of person who I am complaining actually handle my complaint, then it's pointless and wasting my time/effort.

Thanks.

I am also in the same situation but i directly PMed to lucifah, he told me he would look into my matter, but so far after 24 hours, he stopped replying to me on any further updates.

I tried to pm him again and i know he read my message, but it seems he's purposely shying away.

Its very disheartening.

24 hours is actually very short, afterall he didn't work 24 hours long in a day as a forum staff .. more like just an hour here & there.

No reply after reading your message could mean no progress yet, so nothing to update you after 24 hours.

He's probably waiting to hear the other side of story which has yet to respond, before he can update you with anything.

Then why not posting your issue here and let the mod team view them.

If one of the "staff" stopped replying to me. I am pretty sure that it is not a priority to reply or even find what's the problem.

I guess they have no incentive to bother, so just ignore the issue.

You are not lucifah. You dont know whats the reason for the no reply. Since you highlight it, then why not sharing it here so that other mods can help you with it?

Ok, here we go again (Hopefully i get a reply back this time instead of silence).

I had a post in watch threads that mysteriously disappeared, at first i though it was a reported post but there was no notification that it was reported or tagged. It just vanished with no trace of it. I was wondering if it could be the forum acting up due to the login problems and such.

we all know the real reason that it has nothing to do with 'forum acting up'.

There, Everdying has replied to your concern.

For your extra knowledge, a post can/will be removed with or without report as long a Mod sees that its necessary based on the R&R.

Dont assume one mod's no reply = the whole mod team doing the same. We are here to help

Peace!

Scratch that, its "discretion". Ahh, the benefits of using ones "discretion", doing what feels nice.

If that was the case, odd why one of the staff couldnt have replied as you have done, but "choose" to not reply to my inquiry.

At least your more professional about than he was.

Yes discretion. We are humans too. If you feel that its not justified then you can always email/PM the admins or even se7en.

We are volunteers and we have our real life to deal with as well. So we wont be on 24/7/365. If one doesnt reply, you can post here at helpdesk or PM other mods.

Sometimes I wont be on for weeks as Im out of the country with no internet access. It happens.

Hope that clears your doubts.

Not justified or professional, that depends on the individual person itself.

Some ppl are more courteous and wont let emotions dictate how they act, some people obviously failed in that regard and let their own prejudices get the better of them.

Lucifah was around since when i replied back to him, and i checked and saw that his last login was within the time frame that he would have received by last message, previously he was very prompt about replying back to me, but suddenly stopped replying eventhough he kept on logging in regularly.

Reminds me of the taken quote "Good luck".

Anyway, its been resolved and my own answer regarding ppl have been resolved. So there is little point in stirring the spoilt soup so to speak.

Hi, I'm a new user here. Whenever we make a report, do all mods get the report or only specific mods get it? Is there a specific mod in charge of Real World Issues?

I've made some reports in Real World Issues, but it seems that no mod is responding. In the end I have to tag the Topic Starter to tell him to do his work, but it looks like the TS is biased because I'm against his proposal. Is it better to tag or PM a mod instead?

Anyway, is using profanities in RWI okay? Is name calling such as "you are a paid cybertrooper" okay?

If it is okay, then I would not hesitate to also do name calling because I noticed that many of the regulars there often call their opponents all kinds of names in order to bully them into silence or to chase them away.

Mods will receive reports from the sub-forum we are in charge of. Staff and above will receive all reports.

Like ive mentioned earlier, we are not on 24/7/365 and your report is not the only report we will have to handle. So be patient and we will attend to the report.

Please refer to the below R&R
