If we knew we would be smarter than CIA wouldn't we? Malaysia has long been known to the West as a terrorist hidey hole. You want to change that perception, maybe tell people to stop blaming Amerika Syaitan for everything, stop supporting Hezbollah, and speak out more against extremism.
*
that's an issue with local attitude problem, but that's only concealing extremist intentions at most, but not acting on those intentions yet.
I wouldn't rule out Malaysians actually funding them just yet, but it's mostly some clerics brainwashed by Saudi rhetoric or too lazy to actually come up with actual intellectual things to talk about imo.

basically this.
Malaysian Gov themselves are not training homegrown terrorist, but religious extremist training themselves to go on Jihadi vacations.
IMO, the recent re-fundamentalism of Malaysia and the rest of the world after the Iranian revolution have contributed greatly to possibilities of these.
Even if our contribution to the clusterfuuckk is insignificant compared to Al-Saud, we can't deny that there are elements in MY and Indonesia doing it.

hamas parachute training in MY though it's more likely they're here as tourist than as commando to begin with.  whistling.gif

and you believe everything been said by that newspaper/post, its just pure accusation simply because malaysia and indonesia are muslim country the way i see it

on commando training, is not like in the US where normal civilian can have assault rifle to play around with and dont tell me our army give them training that just beyond ridiculous. ISIS have issue threat to malaysia and saudi recently clearly they are not fond with malaysia

some hearsay is true, for example
our involvement with MILF now MNLF were even confirm at one point on including monetary aid towards them
but you have to see from our POV, at that time we were technically in dispute with Indonesia at the waters of Sabah regarding Sipadan and Ligitan
enough about that

there is as the NGPV 2nd batch is no technically impossible as we have a problem with the rights with Blohm and Voss

I dont know man, what malaysia can gain by being hidey hole for this terrorist is not like we are superpower who have huge financial to be involve in this. Middle east crisis are pretty much proxy war, never ending proxy war to be exact

and why blaming America have anything to do with malaysia in the first place? afaik nothing been said by msia gov on america, or blaming them for middle east crisis

i still unclear about the right dispute on the ngpv

so far i know there a poor quality control.. defects list bunch of them. Given they are Blohm and Voss and a reputable one, i doubt they would allow that to tarnish their reputation

re-read my post.
It's not an issue of our Gov funding extremist.
It's the common idiot taking the Jihadi Tourism ticket.
I seriously doubt our Gov is funding any extremist anywhere directly.

lel this Hamas story again?
the story was made to misguide people and apparently they worked

well do you know that there is even a ex sarayat matkal commando come to Malaysia and play motor glider.
how you say? it's easy he has dual citizen ship and he enter Malaysia with EU (iinm can't remember which) passport.

it's easy here in Malaysia, you come here you pay you fly.
and it's easy to bend the story to suit you.

Russia Blocked Israeli Military Fights Over Syria, Lebanon

user posted image

QUOTE
According to As Safir, the Lebanese source said that Russian aircraft immediately blocked the Israeli jets’ path while they flew above the Akkar region in northern Lebanon. “The Russians immediately sent a clear warning to the Israelis that entering Syrian airspace would be a pretext for opening fire,” the source added.

According to the paper, which is considered loyal to Hezbollah, the Israeli aircraft quickly heeded the warnings and changed their course.

well, the original source was an Israeli website , so i had a hunch tongue.gif
but yea, like i said, it's unlikely MY Gov funding extremist directly and more likely to be delusional individuals.

Russian ‘Skynet’ to lead military robots on the battlefield

user posted image

QUOTE
In a step towards creating independent artificial intelligence comparable to Skynet from the 'Terminator' franchise, a Russian company has successfully tested software capable of undertaking decisions and carrying them out without any human intervention.

The United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation (OPK), an integral part of the Rostec arms corporation, says it has developed the Unicum (Latin for 'the only one') software package that gives military or civilian robots enough artificial intelligence to perform complicated tasks completely on their own.

UAE partly to pay Somali military in new deal

user posted image

QUOTE
Somalia has today signed a military support agreement with the UAE to offset part of Somali National Army salaries amid claims the war against Al-Shabaab could be hampered by failure by government to pay the soldiers.

The government did not disclose the nature and scope of the agreement with the army chief Ali Bashi noting that the support was much needed to ensure regular salaries for the soldiers who have had to go without salaries on a number of occasions.

MILITARY-GRADE DIY: PORTABLE 3D PRINTED RAILGUN

user posted image

QUOTE
A railgun, for those outside of the military and mad-science, is a weapon that propels projectiles using electromagnets.  With NASA considering using the technology to launch objects into orbit and the US Navy testing it out as a weapon, it’s some very serious tech.

The build is detailed in a comprehensive gallery on Imgur. The gun, which is partly 3D printed and controlled by an Arduino Uno R3, can fire  copper plated tungsten, aluminium, carbon and teflon. Several videos have appeared on Youtube demonstrating the gun in action, and it’s truly terrifying to behold:

Game Changer: Chinese-Made Killer Drones Operating in Iraq

user posted image

QUOTE
How many of CH-4B combat drones Iraq has received remain unknown. “It is not clear whether China supplied Iraq with just the CH-4B mixed attack and reconnaissance UAV shown in the video, or also with the CH-4A variant, a reconnaissance drone with a 5,000km range and 30-40 hour endurance,” website The Diplomat wrote.

It is precisely designed for high-altitude missions over land and sea, and can fire its weapon from up to 5,000 meters.
The CH-4 also “has a retractable electro-optical sensor turret and a datalink back to the ground control station. The CH-4 also boasts a modern, two person control station to fly the drone remotely, with provisions for both line of sight and satellite communications,” the publication Popular Science noted.
