The size is adequate for N9 state gov (that are not big like central gov), and the techvalley for N9, it is not meant to replace cyberjaya or putrajaya, it is just to cater for N9 and become the best place for N9

Yup agree.

But rather BSS remain as next DAMANSARA of Seremban than Putrajaya/Cyberjaya tongue.gif

Both P&C Jaya not that ONG even after 20 years.

With only 55 acres land for State Administration Centre and 1,000++ acres for TechValley, compare to 334 acres of Government offices in Putrajaya and 7,000 acres land in Cyberjaya, BSS at best can call themselves state level Putrajaya+ Cyberjaya.

Let wait for MVV Infrastructure Roll out announcement in Q1 2017, ie weeks from now.

By the way there is some update on the owner of KIP Mart Sendayan

KIP Group to add five KiP brand retail centres within five years
http://www.theedgeproperty.com.my/content/...thin-five-years

..
KIP Group director Valerie Ong told TheEdgeProperty.com that these new centres are KiP Mall Kota Warisan in Sepang, KiP Mart Sungai Buloh, KiP Mart Kuantan in Pahang, KiP Mart SENDAYAN in Negeri Sembilan and KiP Mart Sungai Petani in Kedah.

After KiP Mall Kota Warisan, the company will start the development of KiP Mart in Sungai Buloh and SENDAYAN. biggrin.gif

According to Ong, the KiP brand retail centres offer a different shopping experience. KiP Mart is a hybrid between a traditional wet market and a conventional shopping centre.

KiP Mart comprises five components — a fresh market (wet market), a supermarket, household, F&B, and other retail and services. It aims to attract mass consumers to visit, not only for their daily necessities but also for their shopping leisure.

Meanwhile, KiP Mall is a neighbourhood mall catering to the needs of the mass market.

“KiP Mart and KiP Mall can draw crowds even during bad times, as most consumers turn to buying cheaper daily necessities from fresh markets instead of malls,” she explained.

The initial public offering (6/2/2017) of KIP REIT is expected to raise RM234.15 million for the acquisition of the six retail assets and to acquire land in prime areas for future developments.

Seremban joins the HSR elite

I would say Seremban West ie BSS, S2 & Labu enjoy more benefit than Seremban East (old town) mainly due to distance from HSR.

Together with incentives to be provided in MVV, Seremban West shall shine icon_idea.gif

It is a well-known fact that whenever a HSR train stops at a certain town, the economic status of the city as well as the standard of living of the people around it will grow many fold. This is what happened to the sleepy town of Daejeon in South Korea, which transformed into a transportation hub as soon it was announced that it would be one of the stopover stations for Korea’s HSR.

Now, Daejeon, which is the fifth largest metropolitan city in South Korea, sits at the crossroads of the country’s transportation routes and is one of the republic’s epicentre for science and technology.

Only hear from MB about the highway. But nothing mentioned about the party responsible for carrying out the project.

SEREMBAN: A brightly-coloured 500kg “lion head” – crafted out of bamboo, paper mache and glass – sits regally at the entrance of the d’Tempat Country Club.

The head, touted to be among the biggest ever built in the country, took two months and nine craftsmen to complete. It costs RM250,000.

Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd (MCHB) managing director and club owner Datuk Lee Tian Hock said the head, which was 2.43m high and 2.74m wide, was endorsed as the biggest by the Dragon and Lion Dance Federation of Malaysia.

“We decided to place the head at the entrance to welcome the Year of the Rooster.

“It also signifies prosperity.

“By placing it there, residents in Bandar Seri Sendayan and visitors to the place will also know what lion dance is all about and its significance during the Chinese New Year,” Lee said at the unveiling of the head.

Present at the event were state secretary Datuk Mat Ali Hassan and MCHB chairman Datuk Mohamad Haslah.

Lee said the club would host several activities in the coming weekends until Chap Goh Mei.

These include traditional Chinese calligraphy, Chinese fan painting, clay art demonstration, tanglung decoration and the art of making a Chinese knot.

There will also be a special lion dance performance consisting of 18 lions and an 18-drum performance from 2pm to 6pm on Feb 11.

Daejeon, did not tranformed into a transportation hub because of HSR, it was already a transportation hub way before HSR
and ...... they got brains to put HSR where it can be utilised tongue.gif

Daejeon, population only increase lots after it become one of South Korea's Goverment Administrative hub
....... didn't we already got putrajaya?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daejeon#History

Just having a HSR station does not make for a transportation hub

Thanks.
