Can I request for a new router if I upgrade from 5mbps to 30mbps? The one they gave me previously is DIR-615 and the signal is not strong enough for me to connect from my living room. I placed the router in my room.

Edited : And also the hypptv box.

Reason being is because I am planning to cancel my astro and use android media box installing in living room (provided hypptv one is able to install kodi then I doesn't have to buy one from the market). I checked with my old setup top box (very old and doesn't support installation of app, not even sure if it's running android) and it doesn't work anymore, not sure why. I've never used it before from my first day of unifi registration.

You can call 100 and they will need someone from sales team to contact you.
Else walking in to the nearest TM Point is the fastest way.
Yes, 5Mbps upload speed.
Well, that one needs special arrangement from the sales team.
*
but i saw forumer said TM point will not allow me to retain free calls right? And also if hypptv box is broken will they replace a new one for me? Or do I have to pay for a replacement?

Yes, TM Point only standard package.
Sorry, I don't know about HyppTV because I don't use it at all.
*

I called 100 twice to try upgrade but the first guy ask me call 100-2-2-4 to ask from customer service (which I realise is actually the same number after closing the phone. So I called in again and the second guy help me to submit a report asking for people from marketing to contact me again, however in the OCC there it shown a report has been closed instead of submitted. Can I not upgrade it directly from 100?

I did my upgrade through TM sales, i.e. 100, then 2-2-4 like you did. If wait for telemarketing, it may take a long time..
*
I gave them third call, they say it is under promotion and will have to get telemarketer to call only can upgrade

Hmm, the TM Sales person actually asked me whether I got call from telemarketing before. In fact I got the call before but declined at first, perhaps that's why they could proceed to process my upgrade.
*
Yup I said the same thing, I said I got some call and want to consider first previously but they never follow up so I called in again. Then they say they will submit a report to marketing team to contact me again. So I think no choice gotta wait for the telemarketer to contact me now

That's weird. I did my upgrade via the TM Sales only earlier this month. Perhaps the sales team no longer have promotions now, only have to wait for Telemarketing...
*
They just gave me a call to upgrade with retaining free calls, so fast, yesterday submit today call dy, now wait for email confirmation

Login ur occ, see the value added service. Remove the one u no need.

Doesn't work, early adopter free calls doesn't categorize as part of the VAS. Look at my attachment.

QUOTE(Xefron @ Oct 15 2015, 08:14 AM)
FYI,it is not new pricing for UniFi 30 and UniFi 50.TM is giving RM 20 rebates for new subscription of UniFi 30 or UniFi 50.

The retail price still the same. For those who plan to upgrade from current VIP and want to enjoy the RM20 rebates, need to go to TM Point.

For new customer,u can go to TMPoint or any resellers.

Only pity the early adopters.
*
Thats why, only if I applied 1 month later I would've saved RM480 over 24 months contract, just wtf mad.gif

there is no different story. Whoever subscribed to the farking 30mbps or 50mbps before today. We are doomed with extra 20 bucks for godsake. Cheated by FARKING TMNUT. END of STORY.

Lol I saw your tweet

Anyway we should all complain to tm, what's the point of early bird package if we applied it earlier than these 'early' bird and yet we are the one paying more

Detailed Description I'm one of the early bird who applied for 30Mbps package and yet I am not getting the RM20 discount deduction from the new pricing, please give a proper explanation on this
Preferred Communication Mobile

In a way I still think we shouldn't be renewing our contract since we are the real early bird, why should I waste my time to go to their place and do it myself since the fault is their side and prolong my contract. They should've just give the RM20 rebate to every early subscriber by default.

2) Existing Unifi Advanced customer, cannot renew or change his contract to this new promotion.
